In the early morning, after a light rain, the sky was clear with miles of visibility, yet the air remained stiflingly warm.
"Are those two still not awake?" Han Yue leaned against the gate, feeling as if he had been waiting for so long that moss was growing on him.
Both Han Yue and Quan Mingxuan had arrived early at Shijin Haoting because they were going together to the vacation villa. To minimize hassle, they planned to hitch a ride on someone's private plane to A City.
But now, they had been waiting for almost half an hour without seeing the gate open.
Quan Mingxuan shrugged, clueless as well.
Just as he took out his phone to call Quan Jingwu, the tightly closed gate swung open.
"Hey --" The gate broke open abruptly, and Han Yue nearly fell over.
Turning around, they found it was Quan Jingwu.
"Hey, brother, can't you give a warning before opening the gate?" He had nearly fallen over, after all.
