After the meal, Quan Jingwu cleaned up the dishes and utensils, with Jian Qing trailing behind him like a little tail.
Quan Jingwu put the dishes into the dishwasher and after washing his hands, he turned around to look at her and said with a chuckle, "What's the matter?"
Jian Qing's smile was brimming, and she cocked her head to look at him, "Nothing."
"Then why keep following me? Didn't I tell you to sit outside? What if you bump into something?" Quan Jingwu reached out to pull her into his embrace and pinched her chin with his long fingers, pecking her lips lightly.
Jian Qing looked up at him and grinned, "No reason, I just wanted to follow you."
The sight of the woman's beaming smile touched his heart. Quan Jingwu's gaze deepened as he concealed his contemplative thoughts. He ruffled her hair and asked, "Would you like some fruit?"
She shook her head, leaning into his chest.
