"Ding-a-ling!"
The wind chimes hanging from the window grilles swayed, making a crisp sound.
Pushing open a pair of glass doors, Jian Qing and Quan Yifei walked into the bookstore. Perhaps due to the early morning, there were not too many customers inside, and only a few scattered people sat at the tables and chairs along the side.
"Yifei, what brings you here today?", a middle-aged woman who had been arranging the books said, seeing Quan Yifei and immediately wearing a smile on her face.
Jade, the owner of the bookstore, was quite familiar with Quan Yifei as she often visited her store over time.
"No overtime work today. You can continue with your work, Jade. Don't mind me", Quan Yifei replied casually, waving at Jade.
"We just got a new batch of comic books in the store. Take your time to look around", Jade suggested.
"Alright then!"
After greeting Jade, Quan Yifei turned to Jian Qing standing beside her.
