Khan's gaze lingered reluctantly on her pregnant belly as he sat back down on the sofa.
"I've finished breakfast too, you can go now." Xiya said.
Khan pretended not to hear her and changed the subject, "By the way, it's been ages since I have seen your husband accompanying you."
"He's busy." Xiya replied calmly.
"What could be more important than his wife and child? You're so pregnant now, what could he possibly be so busy with?" Khan disagreed.
Xiya gave him a suspicious glance, feeling that something was off about him.
"If I'm not mad, why are you?"
Khan gave a calm smile, "No reason, I just think that man is really irresponsible. You're going through such a hard time being pregnant, and he isn't even by your side to support you."
He really wanted to know who the man was on the phone that day, daring enough to pretend to be the father of his lady.
