Chapter 394: The Cozy Daily Life of Hachiman and Yukino

"Are you a horny monkey?"

"Please, soften up quickly!"

Hearing Yukino's words, Hachiman was at a loss.

How could something like that soften just because you asked? Do you think I'm a voice-controlled device?

And now, with the two of them so close, the smooth and plump sensation kept flooding his mind. If he were to soften up at a time like this, wouldn't he become limp?

You see, I might be a man of the day and night.

Moreover, humans are one of the few species that can be horny anytime, anywhere throughout the year, unlike animals that only go into heat during certain seasons.

So, don't underestimate humans!

But to dare call me a monkey, that's going too far.

With that in mind, Hachiman decided to let the girl know who's in charge at home.

Wrapping his arms around Yukino's delicate body, he used one hand to hold her chin and kissed her soft cherry lips directly.

"Mm..."

Suddenly kissed on the lips, Yukino could only let out a whimper, with the rest of her words trapped in her mouth.

Under Hachiman's skilled kissing technique, the girl quickly lost herself, wrapping her arms around his neck, slowly closing her eyes. Her long eyelashes trembled slightly as she responded to the kiss.

Just a kiss wasn't enough for Hachiman; his other hand wasn't idle either, tracing along the slender legs of the girl.

Today, Yukino wore a white dress, and since they were at home, she wasn't wearing stockings, revealing her smooth legs, which felt silky under Hachiman's touch.

After an unknown amount of time, their lips parted, leaving behind a silver thread.

Yukino's face was flushed, her breath slightly labored. In contrast, Hachiman showed no signs of embarrassment or breathlessness, completely composed.

"What's gotten into you all of a sudden?" Yukino glanced at Hachiman with a hint of reproach, but her softened tone made it sound more like she was coaxing.

"It's because you're too irresistible, Yukino. I couldn't resist," Hachiman chuckled and pretended to lean in for another kiss.

But the girl wasn't going to let him succeed. She immediately covered Hachiman's mouth with her hand and gave him a slight glare.

"No way. You're not getting another kiss from me, you rascal," she said, but her eyes were filled with a shimmering glow, lacking any real sternness and carrying a different kind of charm.

Seeing her expression, Hachiman shrugged and didn't insist. Actually, he didn't intend to kiss her again; he was just teasing.

Instead, he lightly kissed Yukino's palm.

Feeling the warmth of his lips on her palm, Yukino quickly withdrew her hand, her cheeks tinged with a blush.

Glancing at the time, Hachiman spoke up, "I'll have dinner here tonight."

Unconsciously, it was already nearing 5 p.m., approaching dinner time.

Yukino didn't refuse either, considering it as a reward for Hachiman.

"Sure, will you be cooking tonight?" Although Yukino was skilled in cooking, she couldn't deny that there was still a significant gap between her and Hachiman in culinary skills. Plus, during their outings, it was always Hachiman who took charge of cooking.

But to Yukino's surprise, this time Hachiman shook his head.

"I won't be cooking tonight. I want to taste your cooking," he said.

Hearing this, Yukino was taken aback. "But my cooking isn't as good as yours."

"It's not about the cooking skills. I just want to taste what you cook tonight," Hachiman said with a faint smile.

Hearing his words, Yukino felt a ripple in her heart

"If a man knows your cooking isn't good, but he still wants to eat it, doesn't that prove how much he likes you?"

As the girl pondered this, her expression softened.

"Okay, then I'll cook dinner tonight."

Seeing her agreement, Hachiman smiled.

Though Yukino's cooking skills were indeed inferior to his, they weren't bad at all compared to most people, easily comparable to an excellent student like those from Totsuki.

"Thank you, Yukino."

"No problem, I usually cook for myself anyway," Yukino shook her head, then suddenly remembered something. "But there aren't many ingredients left in the fridge, we need to buy some first."

"No worries, I'll go with you."

Hachiman didn't mind at all; in fact, he wanted to spend more time with her.

So, the two decided to buy groceries first, as it was only five o'clock and not too late.

They walked out of the apartment together and soon arrived at a nearby convenience store.

Upon entering, Hachiman casually grabbed a shopping basket.

In the grocery section, Yukino turned to Hachiman beside her and asked, "Is there anything specific you want for dinner tonight?"

"I'm fine with anything you make," Hachiman smiled faintly.

Hearing his words, Yukino nodded and began considering what dishes to prepare.

As they strolled through the grocery section, the girl occasionally picked up ingredients, asking for Hachiman's opinion. To onlookers, they seemed like a newlywed couple discussing what to cook for dinner.

After selecting a few items, they headed towards the checkout counter.

...

Back at the apartment, Hachiman carried the groceries into the kitchen.

"Let me help you with the preparation," he offered.

"Sure," Yukino accepted without hesitation, appreciating the extra pair of hands.

With Hachiman's assistance, Yukino's cooking efficiency noticeably improved.

Before long, dinner was ready, featuring dishes like mushroom pork slices, tempura shrimp, thick tamagoyaki, and miso soup, accompanied by rice.

As they sat down to eat, the two joined their hands together and softly uttered words of gratitude.

"Let's eat!"

Outside, darkness had fallen, and under the gentle glow of the lights, they enjoyed their meal facing each other, creating a cozy atmosphere.

Savoring the delicious food and glancing at Hachiman sitting not far away, Yukino felt a subtle sense of happiness blossoming in her heart.

This feels nice, maybe in the future...

Lost in her thoughts, Yukino's gaze met Hachiman's, who looked up inquiringly.

"What's wrong, Yukino?"

"Nothing," Yukino shook her head, her tone involuntarily softening.

They continued to enjoy their meal, as the lights outside gradually illuminated the surroundings, symbolizing the warmth of each household, including theirs.

Eating dinner together, simple yet heartwarming.
