Chapter 237: Let the Normies Die

Seeing Shizuka contemplating leaving, Hachiman couldn't let her go so easily. He put on a sincere expression.

"How can I let you go back so soon, Hiratsuka-sensei? You've already done us a favor by bringing them here. Stay and enjoy the time with us. I'll take care of the expenses. We can all go back together on Sunday afternoon."

He subtly winked at Saeko, and she chimed in, "Indeed, Hiratsuka-sensei, you've been kind enough to bring us here. Please stay and rest with us."

With unanimous agreement from the girls, it was clear they didn't want their teacher to leave after her effort.

Observing this scene, Shizuka hesitated. She did find Totsuki Resort intriguing, especially considering it was a luxurious hotel that cost 80,000 yen per night.

"I guess I can stay," she finally agreed, thinking she could avoid Hachiman and not give him a chance to be alone with her. She didn't believe he would do anything inappropriate in front of the others.

Satisfied with her decision, Hachiman smiled, "Great! Let me show you to our rooms." He led the group towards the hotel reception.

As they entered the hotel, they unexpectedly ran into Gin Dojima.

Seeing Hachiman surrounded by a group of girls, Dojima looked puzzled. "Hikigaya-kun, what's going on here?"

"Oh, Dojima-senpai, this little girl is my sister," Hachiman explained, pointing to Komachi beside him, and then gestured toward the other girls. "And these are my friends. I invited them to join us at Totsuki Resort."

"Haha, I see." Dojima chuckled. "Hello, I'm Gin Dojima, the head of Totsuki Resort. If you have any concerns or issues, feel free to let me know."

After nodding to the girls, Dojima turned and walked away. However, once he turned around, his expression became somewhat peculiar.

With his keen eyes, Dojima easily discerned that the relationships between these girls and Hachiman were far from simple, leaving the still-single Gin Dojima impressed.

Recalling what Hinako and others mentioned about Hachiman's close connections with Erina and Alice, Dojima found himself even more impressed.

Watching Dojima walk away, Hachiman went to the front desk and arranged individual rooms for each girl.

By the time they settled into their rooms, it was dinner time.

Hachiman gathered the girls, including Erina, who hadn't participated in the dinner assessment, and they headed to the independent restaurant.

Apart from the two demons and angels, the girls were quite familiar with each other, mainly due to their previous beach trip.

Seeing the bevy of girls behind Hachiman, some graduated students having dinner at the restaurant were taken aback and felt a tinge of jealousy.

Many of them were still single, usually struggling to handle one girl, but now witnessing Hachiman surrounded by numerous attractive girls heightened their sense of imbalance.

Die, normies!

While they harbored such thoughts, they maintained smiles when Hachiman glanced in their direction.

Seating everyone at a round table, they began their dinner.

"This restaurant offers a buffet-style selection of dishes," Hachiman smiled, speaking as if money was no object. "Of course, you can also order from the menu, but that will incur additional charges. Don't worry about the money; I'll cover it. Feel free to order whatever you'd like."

Hearing this, Komachi and Kotonoha's eyes lit up, but Vigne quickly waved her hands.

"No, no, it's already embarrassing enough that Hachiman is treating us to this resort. We shouldn't spend more money on ordering. Let's stick with the existing dishes."

She was supported by other girls, and Yukino added with a hint of awkwardness, "It feels strange to spend Hikigaya-kun's money carelessly. Eating the existing dishes is enough."

"Haha, alright then. If anyone changes their mind about ordering, just let me know," Hachiman chuckled, not pressuring them.

"Now you can go and pick the dishes you'd like."

With his words, the girls got up and went to choose their favorite dishes. In no time, each person returned with three or four different dishes.

Around the dining table, the girls' exclamations of delight filled the air. Although it was a buffet, each dish was at least of a three-star quality, a rare treat for most people.

Even the four celestial beings were not exempt, as Heaven and the Demon World lacked the material richness of the human world, including cuisine.

Therefore, even Raphiel, the princess of the Heavenly Realm, couldn't resist tasting many types of dishes.

"By the way, I'm free tomorrow. I can accompany you all to explore the resort," Hachiman casually suggested after sipping on a French fish soup.

"Really? That's great, Onii-chan!" Komachi exclaimed with joy. As a diligent wingman, she hadn't forgotten her responsibility—to create opportunities for Hachiman to spend time with the girls.

If Hachiman kept visiting Totsuki Resort as a guest lecturer, it would be challenging to manufacture such chances.

"Of course, today marks the fourth day of the training camp, and most of the sessions have concluded," Hachiman nodded.

"Tomorrow, don't you have any lecture topics?" Erina asked, surprised.

"Yes, tomorrow's schedule includes a morning group assessment, followed by an afternoon session, and finally, an evening banquet to celebrate," Hachiman casually laid out the plan for the next day.

"Morning group assessment?" Erina was puzzled.

"That's right. I won't tell you the specifics of the topics just yet. A bit later, Dojima-senpai will likely gather all the students in the main hall and announce the assessment details," Hachiman shrugged, choosing not to reveal the details right away.

"Alright." Although Erina was a bit curious, she didn't press further. She had confidence in herself, believing she could easily pass any given topic.

Dinner continued, with everyone eating and chatting. Even Erina, who was usually serious, joined in the conversation from time to time, creating a pleasant atmosphere.
