Chapter 69 - Chapter 69

Alex POV:

Jen and I had decided to consummate our marriage, and on Saturday night, we finally surrendered to our desires. The room was dimly lit, with only the soft glow of candles illuminating our entwined bodies.

The scent of jasmine and vanilla wafted through the air, creating a sensual atmosphere that drew us closer. As we gazed into each other's eyes, I knew that our love had reached a new level of intimacy.

As we stood before each other, the air was electric with anticipation. Jen's eyes sparkled with desire, and I could see the faint flush of excitement on her cheeks. I reached out, my fingers tracing the curve of her neck, and she shivered beneath my touch.

"Alex," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

I smiled, my heart racing with excitement. "Jen," I replied, my voice low and husky.

Slowly, I began to undress her, my fingers working deftly to remove each layer of clothing. Her skin was smooth and silky beneath my touch, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at her beauty.

As I revealed her body, inch by inch, my desire grew. I kissed her shoulders, her collarbone, and the gentle curve of her breasts. She moaned softly, her hands reaching up to tangle in my hair.

I lifted her into my arms, carrying her to the bed. The sheets were cool and smooth beneath us, and I laid her down, my body covering hers.

Our lips met in a fierce, passionate kiss, our tongues entwining as we lost ourselves in the moment. I felt her hands on my skin, her fingers tracing the contours of my body.

And then, in a movement that seemed almost instinctual, I entered her, our bodies becoming one. The sensation was intense, overwhelming, and I knew in that moment that I would never let her go.

"Let's go shower," I whispered, my voice husky with emotion, after we had been together for a while.

Jen hesitated, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Babe, I know you're up to something, so I'm not going."

I chuckled, my heart full of love for this woman. "I promise, my dear, I won't do anything stupid to my wife. We'll just bathe, that's all."

She smiled, and together we stepped into the shower, the warm water cascading down our bodies like a gentle caress. We stood there for a moment, the water enveloping us, our hands exploring each other's skin.

Later that day, I was in my office when Jen called, her voice weak and tired. "How's my wifey doing?" I asked, concern etched in my tone.

"I'm not good, I miss you," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Feeling better?" I asked, trying to keep my tone light.

"Maybe," she said, her voice laced with uncertainty. "I have something to tell you."

"Go on," I encouraged, my curiosity piqued.

"I can't tell you now. When you're home, I'll tell you," she said, her voice trailing off.

"Okay, take care, Jen. I'll be home soon," I said, ending the call.

It was 6:30 already, and I knew I had to start leaving before my wife started worrying. I packed up my things and headed out the door, my mind preoccupied with thoughts of Jen and what she might want to tell me.

As I arrived home, I knocked on the door, and it immediately opened to reveal an angry face. "You're home late," Jen said, her voice tinged with annoyance.

"Sorry, Jen. I'm really sorry," I said, pulling her into a gentle hug.

"I had missed you," she said, her voice softening.

"Me too," I replied, carrying her into the house.

We had dinner together, the tension between us dissipating with each passing moment. As we retired to our bedroom, I knew that our love would only continue to grow stronger with each passing day.

Alex POV:

As I gazed into Jen's eyes, I knew that our love was about to embark on a new journey. "So, tell me now," I said, my voice calm and collected, yet laced with anticipation.

Jen's hands trembled slightly as she handed me an envelope, her eyes sparkling with excitement. I took it, my heart racing with expectation, and checked what was inside. The news hit me like a tidal wave - we were having a baby.

"You're two weeks pregnant!" I shouted, my voice filled with joy, as I swept Jen into a tight hug and kissed her passionately. The world around us melted away, leaving only the two of us, lost in the thrill of this new chapter.

I held her close, feeling her warmth, her love, and her life growing inside her. "You've made me so happy, Jen. I love you," I whispered, my voice filled with emotion.

"I love you too," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper, as she snuggled deeper into my embrace.

I kissed her stomach, feeling a sense of awe and wonder at the new life growing inside her. "I'm going to take care of you, both of you," I whispered, my voice filled with promise. "I'll be your rock, your shelter, and your safe haven."

As we stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, I knew that our love would only continue to grow stronger with each passing day. And so, I called a meeting, to ensure that everyone knew the importance of protecting and caring for my precious wife and unborn child.

Our living room was filled with the sound of murmuring voices as everyone, including the bodyguards, gathered around. I stood tall, my eyes scanning the room, as I announced, "My wife is pregnant, so I want you all to be extra careful with her."

I paused, my gaze locking onto Jen's, as I continued, "Anything she wants, you must give her. She must be pampered like a queen. One last thing - she isn't allowed to do anything that will stress her. Her routine is eating, relaxing, and enjoying herself. Twenty bodyguards will accompany my wife when she's going out including the female ones"

Jen raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in her voice. "Babe, that's too much."

I smiled, my eyes locked on hers, as I replied, "It isn't. I'm doing all these for your safety and well-being, okay?"

She nodded a small smile playing on her lips. "Okay"

Jenny POV:

As I waddled around the house, my six-month pregnant belly leading the way, I couldn't help but feel a sense of frustration wash over me. Nobody would let me do anything, fearing for my safety and the baby's. I longed to cook, to feel the warmth of the kitchen and the joy of creating something nourishing. But they said no, their voices filled with concern and caution.

Instead, they catered to my every whim, fulfilling my cravings for ice cream and chicken. But even the sweet taste of ice cream couldn't lift my spirits. I felt suffocated, trapped in a prison of pregnancy.

My hubby, Alex, had started working from home, afraid I might fall or something bad might happen. His constant presence was both comforting and suffocating. I felt like I was losing myself, like I was disappearing into the abyss of motherhood.

"Babe, am I still fine?" I asked, feeling insecure and uncertain.

Alex's voice was calm and gentle, a soothing balm to my frazzled nerves. "What kind of question is this?" he asked, his eyes filled with love and concern. "You're beautiful, Jen."

But I scoffed, feeling ugly and unworthy. "I bet you must be eyeing all those girls outside," I said, my voice laced with venom and doubt.

Alex's expression remained serene, a calm sea in the midst of my turbulent emotions. "I don't," he said, his voice firm and resolute. "It's only you I look at, Jen."

But I couldn't shake off the feeling of insecurity, the fear that I was no longer attractive, no longer loved. I burst into tears, feeling unloved and unattractive.

"You're lying," I sobbed. "You don't love me anymore."

Alex rushed to my side, his hands wrapping around me like a warm embrace. "I love you, Jen," he whispered, his lips brushing against my cheeks. "It's only you I look at."

But I continued to sob, feeling insecure and alone. "Why do you always call me Jen?" I asked, my voice trembling with emotion. "You don't find me attractive, that's why you call me Jen. I want love, honey, sweety."

Alex's voice softened, his words dripping with honey and sweetness. "Jen... I mean, my sunshine, don't cry," he whispered, his hands stroking my hair.

I sniffled, feeling a sense of comfort in his embrace. "Okay, love, I'll stop," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

Alex POV:

I had grown accustomed to Jenny's mood swings, understanding that they came with the territory of pregnancy. Nine months had passed, and she was heavily pregnant, ready to give birth at any moment. I had prepared myself for fatherhood, but I knew that nothing could truly prepare me for the challenges ahead.

As I looked at Jenny, I knew that I had to be patient and understanding, even when she was at her most vulnerable. I had to be her rock, her shelter, and her safe haven.

Before the baby arrived, we had gone shopping for baby boy clothes and essentials, excited to meet our little one. The nursery was ready, filled with soft toys and gentle colors. We had chosen a name, a beautiful and strong name for our son.

But as I looked at Jenny, I knew that none of it mattered. What mattered was her, her health, and her happiness. I would do anything to make her happy, to make her feel loved and cherished.
