Chapter 11 - Chapter 11

Alex POV:

The next morning, I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the day. I got dressed in my tailored suit and headed out of the villa, where my car was waiting for me. As I settled into the luxurious leather seat, my phone rang. I answered, seeing the old man's name on the screen.

"I'm on my way," I said, before ending the call. The driver expertly navigated the roads as I prepared for my meeting with the old man.

Jenny POV:

I started my day by taking a refreshing bath and slipping into the beautiful off-shoulder black dress that Tasha had helped me choose. I applied light makeup, accentuating my natural features, and brushed my hair straight before using the hair straightener to achieve a sleek look. Feeling confident and stunning, I grabbed the invitation card and placed it in a sleek black purse.

Tasha gave me a once-over, her eyes widening in approval. "You look alluring," she said, and I smiled, feeling grateful for her support.

I stepped outside, where a sleek Benz was waiting for me. The driver, impeccably dressed, came out to greet me. "I'm sorry for keeping you waiting," I said, feeling a little nervous.

"You don't have to apologize, ma'am," he replied with a smile. "Waiting for you is also part of my job. Please enter." He opened the door, and I slid into the luxurious interior. The driver got in and expertly drove off, taking me to my destination.

Alex POV:

Three black Porsches drove through the grand entrance of the estate, winding down a driveway lined with manicured hedges and towering trees. The cars parked near the house, a stunning mansion with sleek lines, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a gleaming marble facade. I stepped out with my bodyguards and entered the house, where opulent chandeliers and polished marble floors greeted us.

The old man, Mr. Martin, welcomed me warmly. "Welcome, Mr. Alex. I thought you'd never come."

We sat down in a lavish living room, surrounded by plush couches, rich wood paneling, and artwork worth millions. Mr. Martin began to explain the reason for his summons.

"I need you to train my son. He's in danger because our enemies want him. You're the only one who can protect him. I'll pay you any price to take my son."

I raised an eyebrow, skeptical. "I don't need your money. Why would you think I'm the best option for your child?"

The old man's expression turned grave. "Because you have a good heart, and your intentions for him are pure, not evil. We all know he's the key to bringing the Kave Army back to life. If our enemies get hold of him, they could destroy nations with the Kave Army at their command. Everything we've worked hard for would come crashing down."

I stood up to leave, uninterested. "I'm not buying that. As a father, it's your job to protect your child."

The old man's eyes pleaded with me. "I'm growing old, and I can't do it alone. My wife is dead, and I have no strong security to protect me or my son. You're our last hope to protect the Wibel family. My wife told me this before she died. Please, do it not because I'm asking you to, but because we must stop the Kave Army from coming back to life."

I raised an eyebrow, still skeptical. "I'm the worst person to ask for help, Mr. Martin. I kill when necessary, so I'll advise you to get enough security since you can spend millions on getting this villa."

Mr. Martin's expression turned desperate. "Jack is the only bloodline remaining of the greatest commander, Mr. Lobes Kave, the commander of the Kave Army. My wife is his daughter, and Jack, my son, is his grandson. I plead with the name of Mr. Lobes Kave and my wife, Piselye. Please do it."

I relented, curiosity getting the better of me. "I'll take him. Where is he?"

"In his room," the old man replied.

"I'll need all the details about him, Mr. Martin," I said, turning to Leo.

"Yes, boss. I'll get the boy moved to your villa this evening and assign special bodyguards to protect him," Leo confirmed.

Mr. Martin's face lit up with gratitude. "I will forever be indebted to you."

I sighed before leaving, feeling a sense of unease about the task ahead. I got into the Porsche, which drove off into the night.

Jenny POV:

Annie and I chatted in the Benz, enjoying each other's company. She was a funny, nice, and sweet girl.

I'm starting to get worried since my brother didn't call me as expected. "I hope nothing has happened to him," she said, concern etched on her face.

"Maybe he's just busy," I replied, trying to reassure her.

I had been hesitant to let Alex Grande join us in the car, feeling out of place among the wealthy elite. And, to be honest, I wasn't eager to see the man Tasha had been fangirling over.

As we arrived, Annie exclaimed, "We're here!" We stepped out of the car and I gasped in awe at the breathtaking building before us. The grand estate was a masterpiece of modern architecture, with sleek lines, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a gleaming marble facade. The compound was immaculately manicured, with vibrant flowers and lush greenery surrounding the property.

A collection of luxury cars, including our Benz, lined the driveway. We joined the stream of elegantly dressed guests making their way to the entrance, where a towering, impeccably dressed guard scrutinized each invitation card before granting access. Annie and I approached him, our hearts racing with excitement and a hint of nervousness.
