After several minutes of running we finally got out of the Shinigami's forest, Dracon didn't follow us leaving the reason unknown. Protecting the heaven's paradice was the point of his existence but now that it had been borrowed, who knew what'll happen next.
"Heh..heh...heh"
I panted slowly placing my hands on my knees, I'm going to have a word or two with Chrollos. He didn't tell me I'd be dealing with a mythological creature!

"Huh?"
It happened again after a long time, the same transparent board that appeared years back did again twice this year. But this time it was different.
"+100..XP?"
It was confusing at first, I knew magic utilization was controlled by a system just like I've read in so many books like the Akashic records for instance when I was a kid, but Xerxes never really bothered teaching me how it works. Chrollos assumed since I already possessed certain knowledge in the magic system I understood it.
"What's the problem Xavier?"
Rachel placed her right hand on my shoulder, she looked a bit worried after seeing the look of confusion on my face.
"It's nothing..."
I stared at my right palm responding to her, the question was why now? my wind magic system was activated at age 13 so why did it just become active after all this time? Guess it is my fault for not putting much thought into it back then.
"What a bust."
Cedric crossed his arms complaining, Helena had attacked him earlier for wanting to dismantle the gates of Solarius temple but the serpent did just that leaving Cedric with no merchandise. We couldn't possibly go back there because who knew what had become of Dracon or the temple.
"Well given the circumstances, I'd say it's a job well done. I'm forever grateful to you Crimson Heart, Xavier."
Helena was in tears as spoke holding the heaven's paradice close to her chest, the joy of retrieving your family's long lost treasure was something the inexperienced mind couldn't imagine.
[Mission: Defeat Nageyama of Tendon Seis]
Another message appeared in the white holographic board in front of my eyes.
"Defeat Nageyama?"
At that split second, a shadow was cast over us prompting us to look upwards into the sky. A large airship hovered above us and it had the insignia of a boar on it.
"Tendon...Seis"
I spoke softly after discovering the guild mark of Tendon Seis carved on the body of the airship. Cedric on the other hand clenched his fists while smirking, Finally the action he has been seeking arrived in an airship.
"Alright! Bring it on! You pieces of shit!"
Cedric sounded like he had a bone to pick with Tendon Seis and in actuality he did. If I remembered correctly Crimson Heart and Tendon Seis had an unexpected clash a year back. I believe that was the incident that rose Crimson Heart to the top.
Several mages descended from the ship and surrounded us with Nageyama in the lead.
"Hand over the heaven's paradice."
A simple and straightforward command, he wasn't smiling probably from the beat-down he received from the master of Tendon Seis who remained aboard the craft.
"You decided to have a makeover huh Nageyama? You look better than before!"
I mocked Nageyama who had one half of his face bandaged.
"Tsk I won't repeat myself, Hand over the heaven's paradice!"
Cedric popped his knuckles not being to hold his excitement anymore.
"Enough talk, I don't care who, Bring it on!"
His magic surrounded his right hand which he balled into a fist before punching the ground beneath him.
"Earth Magic: Terra Quake!"
Using one of the spells in his arsenal, the Terra Quake. He sent a shockwave into the ground towards the mages of Tendon Seis which knocked them off balance and to the ground. Nageyama and two other skilled mages however were able to evade this by jumping forward above the ground and towards their targets being us.
In an instant I used my wind magic to propel myself towards Nageyama and grabbed his forehead with my right hand before he could even realize it.
"What!?"
"Take the Heaven's Paradice away from here we'll handle this!"
I yelled out instructions to Helena who was in possession of the heaven's paradice. The second mage that sprang forward towards us was intercepted by Rachel and the third by Cedric.
"Grr.."
I growled lowering my eye lids turning my attention back to Nageyama as wind energy surrounded the hand that held his forehead. I threw him backwards towards a building using the wind as support before following him to where he had crashed.
Helena ran away as far as her legs could take her, preventing Tendon Seis from getting their hands on the heaven's paradice was our main priority as of now.
"Tell me."
I spoke as I approached Nageyama who was buried by rubbles, this part of town was deserted mainly because it was right next to the cursed forest referred to as the Shinigami's forest. Nageyama emerged from within the rubbles before dusting his clothes as he stared down at me.
"Why are you after the heaven's paradice?"
There was a moment of silence before Nageyama suddenly laughed out in a evil manner. He placed his hand over his eye chuckling before actually considering my question.
"You can't stop us anymore, all we need is the heaven's paradice and once we acquire it. Maledrax will finally be awakened."
He lost me at we couldn't stop him anymore seeing as that was what we were literally doing.
"What the hell is a Maledrax?"
Nageyama chuckled sinisterly as flames bursted out of his body, he approached me slowly with the intentions of killing me.
"Maledrax, the Demon of the Abyss. It's a shame you won't be here to witness his resurrection because I, I will be the one to kill you. You Goddamn wind mage!"
His eyes turned a fiery orange completely, flames devoured his whole body burning off his shirt and bandages. He was going all out for the sake of killing me, I was honoured.
A fight to the death? well I can't goof around anymore. I removed my cape and threw it into the air as the wind carried it away with it's currents.
"Bring it on!"
"This is our final battle, I will kill you, you accursed wind mage!"
His voice resonated in the surroundings, his flames were hot enough to leave severe scorch marks on the ground, the kind of Magic system he used was not a joke.
