Chapter 276 - Chapter 276: Danger

"What are the other ninjas from Charles Agency doing?"

"Reporting to the director, based on the current information, Kakashi Hatake, Rock Lee, Naruto Uzumaki, and Sasuke Uchiha are currently staying in London."

"It seems like they've received a considerable amount of assets there, but the London branch of S.H.I.E.L.D. hasn't informed us of the specifics."

"They claim everything is normal there, and Kakashi and the others are just completing some tasks commissioned by the agency."

"As for Tsunade, Shizune, and Iruka Umino, they should be inside the agency."

Upon hearing that the London S.H.I.E.L.D. branch did not provide detailed information, Nick Fury's eyebrows slightly furrowed.

The overseers of these branches were not reliable; they often withheld information, and sometimes, he had to intervene personally to obtain the necessary data.

"Alright, I understand. Keep a close record of Charles Doyle's every move and analyze his actions."

"I don't believe that the Hidden Leaf Village behind him can stay hidden forever."

"Yes, sir!"

...

The next day-

Charles woke up in the bed of the Bangkok Continental Hotel and checked in.

Ding! Check-in successful, gaining 500 prestige points!

After collecting the prestige points, he checked the refreshed ninja shop. Disappointed with the lack of ninja fragments he wanted to purchase, he exited the system space.

After freshening up, Charles went directly to the hotel lobby, where Neji, Hinata, Temari, and Li Zhongzhi were already waiting.

Li Zhongzhi was the first to arrive; he had not rested well last night. Despite bringing Charles Doyle over to assist, his heart was still restless until he saw his daughter.

"Mr. Charles, please have some breakfast first."

Seeing Li Zhongzhi with red eyes, obviously having spent a sleepless night, Charles smiled, "Let's set out now. I can have my breakfast in the car."

With three armored vehicles leading the way, Charles ate a hamburger in the car. Soon, they arrived at the entrance of the police station.

Inside the police station, more staff than the previous night were working, and the resting police officers were now on duty.

Li Zhongzhi found Officer Cui in the police station and said, "Officer Cui, can I take my daughter's things today?"

Officer Cui nodded and said to a nearby police officer, "Bin, the key to the evidence room is with you. Take Mr. Li to get his daughter's belongings."

The called police officer, Bin, glanced at Li Zhongzhi and remained calm, smiling, "I'm sorry, I forgot to return the key to the evidence room last night. I'll take you to get your daughter's belongings now."

Bin took out the key from the drawer and escorted Li Zhongzhi to the evidence room to retrieve the items.

At this moment, Officer Cui approached Charles and the others sitting in the corridor. After thinking for a moment, he picked up a notebook and a mobile phone, then walked over.

"Mr. Charles Doyle, I'm your fan. Could you please sign and take a photo?"

"If my wife knew that such a big shot came by, she would definitely want to take a photo too. Unfortunately, she's pregnant now."

Looking at the Thai police officer who resembled the movie star Wu Yue from his past life, Charles took the pen and paper, signed his name, and took a quick photo with the officer.

Seeing how easygoing Charles was, Officer Cui quickly bowed in thanks. He hadn't expected such kindness from such a prominent figure; it was beyond his expectations, and he had prepared himself for potential rejection.

After numerous expressions of gratitude, Officer Cui, having obtained the autograph and photo, didn't disturb Charles further. He returned to his office.

Watching the officer who looked like Tony Jaa, Tucker, witnessing Charles's actions outside, curiously asked, "Officer Cui, who is that person? A famous American movie star?"

Seeing Tucker looking in Charles Doyle's direction, Officer Cui smiled, "Tucker, he's no movie star. That's a superhero from the United States."

"Do you know Tony Stark, Iron Man? He is equally famous as him, the Ninja Immortal, Charles Doyle."

Hearing Officer Cui's explanation, Tucker exclaimed, "Oh my God, it's him."

"I didn't recognize him. Why would he come to our police station?"

"No, I have to go and get an autograph and a photo too. He's my idol. His martial arts skills are really cool."

After speaking, Tucker grabbed his phone and notebook from his desk and rushed outside.

Tucker was the second police officer to approach Charles. Excitedly, he shouted, "Mr. Charles, I'm your fan! I really admire you, especially your martial arts skills. You're my idol."

Watching another celebrity from his past life, Tony Jaa, Charles smiled, "No need to be so excited."

"I'm Charles Doyle. What should I call you?"

"I'm Tucker."

Seeing Charles extend his hand, Tucker shook it enthusiastically, ready to express his thanks.

But in the next second, a different scene flashed through Tucker's mind—an unfamiliar planet, a blood-red moon with nine gigantic jade hooks, and an enormous and unknown tree towering on the planet's surface, surrounded by countless corpses and flowing blood.

The image in Tucker's mind flashed by, and he released Charles's hand. His gaze towards Charles became inexplicable.

Tucker possessed a somewhat extraordinary ability. When shaking hands with others, he could see visions of potential danger. However, it wouldn't activate every time. This ability had helped many friends and colleagues, but the image he saw this time...

Tucker refocused his mind, thinking it must be an illusion, it had to be fake. How could there be aliens and planets in the vision? The red moon and the colossal tree in the sky didn't exist. It seemed like my ability is becoming less reliable.

Tucker took out his notebook and phone. Seeing these two items, Charles also understood.

After giving Tucker an autograph and taking a photo, more people from the police station rushed over. Even officers from other floors, alerted by the news, came down to find this "superhero" for a group photo.

Fortunately, Li Zhongzhi didn't take too much time in the evidence room. He quickly retrieved the items and returned.

Seeing Li Zhongzhi with the belongings, Charles refused the requests for autographs and photos from the remaining people and left the police station with others.
