"How is that possible? Give me time, and I can definitely develop a stronger suit of armor. We can have another match when I've developed the new armor," Tony said, refusing to accept defeat.
Evidently, this confrontation had given him many new ideas about his armor, and he believed that with time, he could create an even more formidable suit.
"By the time you upgrade your armor, I'll also enhance my abilities. I believe that my strength will improve much faster than the speed at which you upgrade your armor," Charles replied.
Tony was trying to get up but found that the few remaining pieces of armor on his body were pressing him down, preventing any movement.
"Hey, lend me a hand, help me remove the remaining parts," Tony requested.
Charles didn't refuse and swiftly stripped away the remaining pieces of Tony's armor, placing them all in the storage space.
Later, the two returned to the villa. Tony went upstairs to change his clothes, while Charles took out Mark II from the storage space and placed it in Tony's lab, alongside the parts of Mark III.
Looking at Mark II and the Mark III parts in front of him, Tony exclaimed, "Your ability is really convenient!"
"I believe you will also be able to develop similar equipment in the future!" Charles replied, evoking a faint smile from Tony.
In truth, Tony was already tired of ordinary compliments. He was a very proud and self-absorbed person, but being praised by someone who had overwhelmed him in combat and possessed many special abilities today made him feel very good.
"As long as you give me time, I believe everything will be fine," Tony said.
At that moment, Charles stood up and said, "Tony, I have experienced your armor today, and we have had our match. I will have to leave now."
"Alright, when I develop a stronger suit of armor, we can have another match. I will definitely defeat you next time," Tony replied.
"Oh, and don't forget to bring Parker back with you. Of course, if you forget, I don't mind adopting him," Tony added.
Charles chuckled and said, "I'll be waiting for your message."
"But you don't need to worry about Parker. Once it's past twelve o'clock, he'll go back on his own," Charles assured Tony.
Upon hearing Charles say that Parker would return on his own, Tony didn't say much. He just waved his hand, bidding farewell to Charles.
After Charles left, Tony sat on his own workbench, lost in thought. After a while, he spoke up, "J.A.R.V.I.S., did we completely record our battle?"
"I have recorded the entire video of your fight with Mr. Charles," J.A.R.V.I.S. replied.
"Analyze his strength and attack speed."
"Sir, Charles's speed varies at different times."
A photo of the normal-state Charles Doyle appeared in front of Tony.
"At this moment, Mr. Charles's speed is at the level of sound."
After this, a picture of Charles Doyle opening the Eight Gates appeared in front of Tony.
"At this moment, Mr. Charles's speed reaches supersonic levels," J.A.R.V.I.S. continued.
"And this speed cannot be determined as his maximum speed. Most importantly, his reaction speed is also very fast."
"If we consider only the movement speed, the Mark III armor's speed is not slower than his, but that's the maximum flight speed of the armor, and his reaction time is what's truly terrifying."
"As for strength, based on the force of his strikes, it is currently impossible to calculate a specific value. However, being able to easily strip off the gold-titanium alloy armor indicates a force of more than ten tons."
"After all, the armor's thickness is not very high."
Upon hearing this data, Tony exclaimed in surprise, "So, in front of him, even Captain America would be like a baby?"
"Sir, in fact, you are not much different from a baby in front of him," J.A.R.V.I.S. retorted.
"Damn!" Tony cursed upon hearing J.A.R.V.I.S. mocking him.
"Save the data of this battle video on my private server and encrypt it," Tony ordered.
"Then begin repairing the armor."
…
Meanwhile, on the other side-
Obadiah Stane received a call from the Ten Rings' Zala. He arrived in Miguela with a group of his men.
Zala stood at the entrance of the camp, welcoming Obadiah as he got out of the car.
"Welcome!"
Obadiah, wearing a smile, walked up to Zala, examining her from top to bottom.
"If you had killed him earlier, you wouldn't have suffered such significant losses,"
Obadiah commented. "I heard that your side was attacked today as well."
However, Obadiah soon got down to business and said, "Let me see what you've got."
Zala's voice grew heavy as she said, "Hold on, have your bodyguards wait outside."
Obadiah gestured for his guards to stay outside and then followed Zala into her tent.
Inside the tent, Obadiah noticed a stack of blueprints on the table, along with a laptop. Zala approached the computer and quickly played a video of Tony testing the Mark I suit at the cave entrance.
Watching the video on the computer, Obadiah picked up the blueprints from the table and quickly exclaimed, "So, he used this to escape?"
As the video continued, Obadiah saw someone he recognized. The man who had met with Tony Stark at Stark Industries appeared in the surveillance footage.
Obadiah paused the video on the man's face and asked, "Who is this man, and why is he here?"
Seeing the man on the screen, Zala's pupils slightly constricted, and she said, "Tony didn't escape using that; he was rescued by this man."
Upon hearing Zala's words, Obadiah remembered an expense he had incurred while searching for Tony. He previously thought it was for the military, but now it seemed it was for rescuing Tony.
"Who is he?" Obadiah inquired.
Zala gazed at the man in the picture and said helplessly, "I don't know who he is. If you have any information about him, I hope you can share it with me."
Zala pointed at the blueprints in Obadiah's hand and said, "The blueprints in your hands are just preliminary drafts. He has already perfected his own work."
"Today, the attack on Gulmira was carried out by Tony Stark himself, using a weapon that can only be described as terrifying."
