Chapter 120 - Chapter 120: 29 vs. 29

#Mass Release(1/5)

On the other side-

The leader of the Belarusian gang led her subordinates into the sewer, enduring the foul stench inside. They managed to bypass the police blockade and emerged near Forrest Hills 71st Avenue, next to a sewage manhole.

Since taking charge of the Belarusian gang, she had never been in such a sorry state.

However, she had come to support Elder Charles, so she led her subordinates through the sewer.

As they sneaked through, the leader and her team quickly approached the street near Charles Agency. They saw Bowery King and his men cleaning up bodies.

The leader of the Belarusian gang knew that John Wick hadn't been wrong. The enemies truly couldn't harm the Elder, but unfortunately, they hadn't been the first to arrive and support her.

She and her subordinates quickly reached Charles Doyle's side and immediately knelt down in front of the man to express their loyalty.

"Elder, we came to rescue you, please forgive our tardiness."

Looking at the woman and her subordinates in front of him, Charles spoke, "It's alright, you can rise."

"Are you the ones John Wick informed to come and help?" Charles asked.

"Yes, Elder Charles," She replied as she and her subordinates stood up.

"John informed us that this area might be under attack, so I brought my men here as quickly as possible. Fortunately, you, Elder, haven't been injured, and you've even dealt with the incoming enemies."

Seeing the Belarusian gang in front of him, Charles silently nodded. John Wick seemed to be quite reliable, and it seemed that after this mission, he could keep him close for further development.

"The enemies have all been dealt with. You can join the others in cleaning up the scene."

"Yes!"

Upon hearing Charles's orders, She immediately led her subordinates to join the work of clearing the battlefield.

New York Continental Hotel-

After rushing into the hotel ahead of him, Sasuke saw Lee activate the Eight Inner Gates. Without hesitation, he used his Sharingan to scan for traces and, based on the footprints and the sound of footsteps, chose a direction to move forward.

Upon realizing that the enemies were heading towards the hotel's management area, Sasuke increased his speed even more.

This area was familiar to him because every time he came here to pick up missions, Winston would prepare some desserts and delicacies for him to taste. Over time, he had become quite familiar with the layout.

In just three breaths, Sasuke arrived and found the members of the Hand.

"Lightning Style: Chidori!"

Taking advantage of his high-speed sprint and noticing the enemies the moment he arrived, Sasuke immediately formed the necessary hand seals. Lightning erupted in the dark, shining brightly.

Sasuke gripped Chidori and charged forward, killing thirteen enemies instantly. It wasn't until Chidori's chakra was completely exhausted that he stopped.

"Twenty-three people."

On the other side, Sowande had heard the loud cry of the Thousand Birds and, turning around, witnessed a young man wielding lightning who had already approached.

Before he could clearly see his face, lightning was upon him, and his thirteen subordinates in front of him were instantly killed.

Seeing the young man in front of him who could control lightning, Sowande was shocked and at a loss for words. Without much time to say anything, he was kicked by a lightning-fast whip kick.

Sowande didn't dare to underestimate the young man just because he was a teenager. He immediately activated his body's qi for defense. However, it was still insufficient, and he was kicked away with severe injuries.

Hearing the familiar defense that he had encountered when fighting with Madame Gao, Sasuke spoke, "So, you're one of the leaders of the Hand!"

Sasuke didn't hold back. He carefully controlled his strength and launched a series of Lion Barrage kicks.

With two kicks, he shattered the chakra covering Sowande's entire body. He was heavily injured but still alive.

With only six of his subordinates left, they saw their leader being attacked. Without hesitation, they drew their daggers and rushed towards Sasuke.

Seeing that the remaining six still dared to fight, Sasuke immediately pulled out six kunai from his ninja pouch and threw them.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!

The kunai flew, and before the six could get close, they were all killed.

At this moment, Sasuke had one foot firmly on Sowande's body, and he began to speak, "What's your name?"

Sowande felt a searing pain all over his body at this moment. Sasuke's foot felt as heavy as a mountain, and he couldn't move at all.

Gasping for breath, Sowande stared at Sasuke and replied, "You attacked me without knowing who I am."

Sasuke pressed down with his foot and coldly said, "Do I need to know who you are to kill you?"

"Now, I ask, and you answer. What's your name?"

Looking at Sasuke's youthful face, yet terrifying strength, Sowande reluctantly answered, "My name is Sowande, and I'm one of the leaders of the Hand."

"Who hired you, and how much were you paid? I'm willing to pay you ten times the amount in return."

Before Sasuke could respond, he sensed someone approaching.

The next moment, Lee arrived with the unconscious Bakuto on his back. Seeing that there were no living enemies left except the one under Sasuke's foot, Lee immediately asked, "Sasuke, I killed 29 enemies. How many did you take down?"

Hearing that Lee had killed 29 people, Sasuke coldly replied, "Tied."

Seeing that Sasuke and Lee had ignored him and were talking among themselves, Sowande immediately spoke up, "Who are you people, and how much were you paid? I'll pay you ten times!"

Glaring at the boastful Sowande, Sasuke simply kicked him, causing him to cough up a mouthful of blood.

Sasuke then said, "You dare to attack us without knowing who we are. Your audacity knows no bounds."

After speaking, Sasuke glanced at the person Lee was carrying on his back and walked over. He knocked Sowande unconscious and, imitating Lee, bound him up.

At this moment, inside the safe house, Winston had no idea that all the enemies outside had been dealt with. He was still anxiously awaiting the outcome.

Sasuke glanced at the secure door in front of him, then raised his palm and slammed it against the door, creating a loud noise that startled Winston inside.

"Winston, all the enemies have been dealt with. Come out to clean up the mess."

As Sasuke's voice echoed into the room, Winston, upon hearing the familiar voice, finally reacted.

He immediately picked up the remote control and pressed the button to unlock the door. The locks on the security door began to automatically disengage. After about a minute, the door to the room was fully opened.

By this time, Sasuke had already hoisted Sowande onto his shoulder. He looked at Winston inside the safe house and said, "All the enemies have been dealt with. You should arrange to clean up the scene."

"Oh, and have Charlie's team go to the agency for cleanup."

Winston looked at the two young men in front of him, bowed, and then said, "Thank you for the rescue, my lords. I will immediately contact Charlie and have them go to the Elder's location for cleanup."

Sasuke nodded and turned to Lee, saying, "Let's go. We'll take the target back to Lord Charles."

With that, the two of them turned and left, leaving Winston standing in the safe house.

As he watched the departing figures, Winston couldn't help but sigh deeply. Was this the power that Elder Charles possessed? Just the two of them had wiped out the enemies who had nearly breached the Continental Hotel!
