Chapter 471 - Chapter 470: Analysis and Intelligence

Nick Fury spoke up, "He's just a wandering ninja. With that level of strength, he should be considered quite capable."

"The only thing we can't be sure of is whether this strength represents his full potential. After all, Barton only managed to push him to reveal a limited portion of his strength."

"Hill, what do you think?"

Upon hearing the director's question, Hill looked at Kabuto on the screen, pondered for a moment, then said:

"As for Kabuto's strength, I believe he must be hiding something."

"Kabuto didn't suddenly gain extraordinary abilities. He's a ninja who lives in an extraordinary world."

"According to the intelligence we have, ninjas are military units of ninja villages, carrying out various tasks such as protection, assassination, and intelligence gathering."

"In such an environment, even a wandering ninja wouldn't reveal all of their strength when entering a new organization. They would certainly hide their true abilities to some extent."

"Moreover, although Barton's explosive arrow sent him flying, Kabuto didn't actually get injured in the process."

"Retrieve the footage of Kabuto being attacked by the explosive arrow."

Following Hill's instructions, an agent beside him operated the computer and quickly retrieved the footage of Barton attacking Kabuto.

"Slow it down."

"Yes, stop here."

"Director, look. When Kabuto was sent flying by the explosive arrow, there was no panic on his face. The moment he landed, he immediately launched a counterattack."

"Please pay attention to his body movements when he was sent flying. He shows no signs of panic, and his limb movements are very coordinated. He wasn't injured at all when he was sent flying."

Upon hearing Hill's words, both Nick Fury and Sitwell nodded.

Nick Fury then said, "It seems that Mr. Kabuto still doesn't trust us."

However, Hill didn't respond to the director's words but continued, "I believe there are still many things to be explored about Kabuto."

"The location of the ninja village, the approximate number of ninjas, methods of chakra extraction, methods of ninjutsu cultivation, and those peculiar ninja tools."

"There are too many secrets on him. As long as our SHIELD can dig them out, it will be a huge treasure trove."

"As for his current strength, it's actually not the most important thing for our SHIELD."

Hill paused here for a moment before moving on to Barton.

"As for Barton, my opinion is the same as Sitwell's. The terrain here restricted his performance."

"With his strength, he could have caused much more destruction."

"Based on Barton's performance, we can see the power of the physique enhancement serum, which is something we obtained from the ninjas."

"The fact that ninjas can trade it means it's probably already widely available. It's normal for Barton to not be able to defeat a ninja, but the widespread use of it and our inferior strength compared to them doesn't mean we don't need it."

"On the contrary, we need the physique enhancement serum, and we may even need a large quantity of it."

"Perhaps one Barton can't defeat a ninja, but ten, a hundred Bartons, or even countless more soldiers with the same strength as Barton."

"We can overwhelm the opponent with sheer numbers, so we need to acquire physique enhancement serum as soon as possible, and have our own supply of them."

Nick Fury glanced at Hill and also agreed with her remarks. He then said, "Hill, you're right. Kabuto is a treasure trove for SHIELD."

"A treasure trove with infinite possibilities!"

"A treasure trove that will lead SHIELD into the extraordinary world!"

"However, since he just joined us, we can't immediately dig into the core of things."

"We need to take it step by step, guide him to voluntarily hand over those core things, and, more importantly, we need to support Kabuto in such a way that he feels the benefits of being with SHIELD."

"Then we can attract more wandering ninjas to join SHIELD."

"We can even promise that the ninjas he brings in can become his subordinates and be under his command."

When Nick Fury reached this point, Sitwell beside him exclaimed, "Director, isn't such a reward too generous?"

"Making a newcomer who just joined SHIELD a team leader?"

Nick Fury shook his head and said, "Apart from him, do we have any other ninjas joining us?"

Upon hearing the director's words, Sitwell didn't say anything else and just picked up his coffee from the table, taking another sip. No one knew what he was thinking at that moment.

Nick Fury stood up at this point and ordered, "Once the scientific team has analyzed the data, send it to my office along with Kabuto's test results."

"Hill, Sitwell, if you have any good supervisory personnel, you can recommend them together."

After finishing his words, Nick Fury left the room and returned to his office.

Seeing the director leave, Hill and Sitwell didn't linger either, both getting up and leaving successively.

Brooklyn - Sunagakure Puppet Shop -

Coulson carried two briefcases and arrived at the door of the shop.

Seeing that there were no doormen at the entrance, it seemed that Sunagakure didn't take over any other forces here, and the manpower was still as scarce as before.

Coulson wondered about the difficulty and cost of Sunagakure Village's ninjas coming to Earth.

Pushing open the door of the puppet shop, Coulson walked in, only to find that there was an additional person at the service desk, not just Temari, but another female ninja.

Seeing the face of the other person, Coulson immediately recalled her information. She was Pakura, a ninja from the Sunagakure Village, whose initial appearance was in Japan. Presumably, this was the location where she originally landed.

However, it was unclear whether this location was temporary like Kabuto's or a stable place for sending people.

Coulson walked to the front desk and looked at the two people in front of him, saying:

"Miss Temari, I need to buy two puppet dolls for intelligence consultation."

As he spoke, Coulson placed the briefcase in his right hand on the table at the service desk.

"This is the payment, one hundred energy blocks."

Seeing the briefcase on the table, Temari smiled and opened it directly. After confirming that there were indeed one hundred energy blocks inside, she closed the case and placed it inside the service desk.

"No problem."

As she spoke, Temari took out two puppet dolls and an hourglass from the display case behind her. She glanced at Pakura beside her and said, "Teacher, do you want to join?"

However, Pakura shook her head and said, "No, you can communicate with him yourself."
