Chapter 459 - Chapter 458: Suppressing the Rebellion

Asgard-

Heimdall stood at the broken Rainbow Bridge, holding his sword and watching the war unfolding in Jotunheim. When he saw Uchiha Madara appear, he was greatly surprised.

He had no idea how the person had appeared. He could understand the summoned battle pets, perhaps they were summoned using some kind of magic.

Could it be that the powerful man had also been summoned just like the battle pets?

Seeing Uchiha Madara easily kill the rulers of the Frost Giants and the Mountain Giants, Heimdall was stunned.

When he finally reacted, he immediately raised his sword and turned to run towards the Divine Palace.

He wanted to inform the Allfather that Merlin had brought someone to kill the rulers of the two races. As for the remaining war, he believed Thor and the others would definitely quell the rebellion, so he didn't stay to see the final outcome.

...

Jotunheim-

By now, Charles had rushed to Thor's side. The eight leaders of the Mountain Giants showed expressions of sorrow upon realizing their king's sacrifice.

Then, they looked at Thor with determined eyes. All eight leaders launched a final charge towards Thor, and at the critical moment, they chose to self-destruct.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

The sudden self-destructive explosions inflicted the greatest damage on Thor, causing him to be blasted away.

Charles was startled to see this and immediately used the Body Flicker Technique to rush over.

When Charles arrived, Thor's armor was already in tatters, and blood was flowing from his mouth. However, he still firmly grasped his hammer in his right hand.

Seeing this, Charles immediately placed his hands on Thor's wounds and activated healing Jutsu.

With green chakra appearing in the center of his palms, Charles treated Thor's wounds while checking his condition.

After a simple examination, Charles sighed in relief. Thor wouldn't die.

As long as he didn't die, it wouldn't be a big deal.

If Thor had died here, Odin, who was about to enter a deep sleep, would go crazy.

After Charles's treatment, Thor's injuries began to heal.

Thor coughed and woke up from his coma, opening his eyes.

"Thank you, Charles."

"It's good that you're awake. I thought you were going to die."

Thor closed his eyes and then opened them again. "In that instant just now, I really thought I was going to return to the embrace of the World Tree."

After briefly treating Thor, Charles stood up and looked at the Frost Giants and Mountain Giants on the battlefield, shouting, "Farbauti and Yodon have been defeated and killed. Why don't you surrender?"

Charles's words were infused with magical power, transmitting directly into the ears of everyone on the battlefield.

Upon hearing this news, all the warriors of the two races lowered their heads and then dropped their weapons.

With that, the rebellion in Jotunheim was completely suppressed.

...

In the Divine Palace of Asgard-

Heimdall reported, "My lord, the Supreme Merlin Charles Doyle has summoned someone strong."

"He has already killed the rulers of the Frost Giants and the Mountain Giants, Farbauti and Yodon, and the rebellion in Jotunheim has basically ended," Heimdall reported.

Upon hearing Heimdall's words, Odin remained silent for a moment.

Just a moment ago, when Heimdall rushed in, he had feared for Thor and the Supreme Merlin's safety.

However, it turned out that the Supreme Merlin had killed the rulers of the two races. It seemed that Merlin's choice of successor was indeed powerful, bearing the mark of Merlin's greatness.

After pondering for a moment, Odin spoke up, "This is good news. Other forces in the Nine Realms will never imagine that we have quelled the rebellion in Jotunheim so quickly. If other forces try to incite rebellion, they will also be dealt with immediately."

"My lord, other forces may not receive the news so quickly. It may take some time for them to find out, especially since Jotunheim's technology is not advanced, and spreading information throughout the Nine Realms takes time," Heimdall replied.

Odin smiled faintly, "That's what I want. They don't need to know the news for now."

"I want to see which forces in the Nine Realms harbor rebellious intentions. Seize this opportunity to deal with them all."

Odin knew that the path to Thor becoming the king always required sacrifices.

Asgard was not suitable for large-scale warfare at the moment, but those with rebellious intentions were enough to establish Thor's reputation.

"How much longer until Sif's ship reaches Jotunheim?" Odin asked.

After thinking for a moment, Heimdall replied, "It will take another twenty-seven days. Do you want to send a message for them to return immediately?"

"No, there's no need," Odin replied.

"There must be other forces outside spying on the movements of this expedition. Let Sif's ship attract their attention. They will never guess that the war in Jotunheim has already ended."

"Moreover, we also need to station a troop in Jotunheim to supervise."

"Also, on the way back, they can bring Thor and Charles back together."

Upon hearing the king's arrangement, Heimdall nodded.

"I understand."

"I will monitor the major forces in the Nine Realms and identify those who are planning rebellion."

Odin nodded, and Heimdall left the Divine Palace.

As Heimdall departed, Odin, holding the Gungnir, stood beside the throne of the Divine Palace, gazing into the distance, overlooking all of Asgard.

...

Jotunheim-

As the two races surrendered, Charles sent out shadow clones to clean up the battlefield and collect the hearts of the earth and ice crystals from the 20 leaders and rulers of the two races.

Meanwhile, Uchiha Madara had already used Body Flicker to appear by Charles's side.

"Do you want the remaining ants cleaned up?" Uchiha Madara asked, his arms crossed. He didn't care at all about the surrendering members of the two races, and their lives or deaths meant nothing to him.

Thor looked at the man before him, hearing his cold words, and thought of Loki's policy of extermination.

However, Thor did not speak, but looked at Charles.

Charles smiled and said, "Let these weaklings live."

"Someone will eventually have to spread the news of our victory."

Upon hearing Charles's answer, Madara paused for a moment before speaking, "Then let the name of Uchiha echo throughout this world."
