Chapter 303 - Chapter 303: Night Talk

Watching Tsunade treating her own injuries, a faint smile appeared on Charles's lips.

This sparring session was different from the previous one-sided beating; at least this time, Charles managed to unexpectedly inflict some injuries on Tsunade.

Of course, Charles didn't resort to the tricky move of using the giant attack of Lee's Eight Gates technique. After all, if that move is used, it would be game over.

After Tsunade healed the wounds on her body, Charles pulled her down, and both of them ended up lying on the ground.

Charles picked up a remote control, pressed a button, and the ceiling transformed into a beautiful starry sky. This was a small addition during Ginny's last renovation.

Lying on the ground and looking at the starry sky above, Charles spoke, "Tsunade, what is your wish?"

Tsunade, who was pulled down to the ground, didn't refuse and just laid there.

Looking at the starry sky above, Tsunade disdainfully said, "Your tricks may work on kids, but in the eyes of a ninja, you can see through the fakeness at a glance."

Then she shook her head, "Are you trying to be Santa Claus? But it's already May, and Christmas is far away."

Charles awkwardly smiled. Indeed, the artificial starry sky on the ceiling wasn't made using Tony's technology, and it lacked the lifelike holographic projection that would deceive even the eyes of ninjas.

"Don't mind these details. You still haven't told me your wish."

Hearing Charles bring up the topic again, Tsunade, while looking at the starry sky on the ceiling, let her thoughts wander back to the world of Naruto.

She remembered the days of her childhood, shaking dice with her grandfather, and lying on her second grandfather's lap while he researched ninjutsu. After pondering for a moment, Tsunade spoke:

"If possible, I hope you can bring my grandfather and second grandfather into this world. It's been too long since I last saw them, and also, the members of the Senju clan."

Hearing Tsunade's wish, Charles understood. It seemed everyone's wish was related to their own clans and loved ones. After successfully recruiting them, it was like giving those who had already passed away a second chance at life.

For Tsunade's hoped-for clan members, Charles didn't have any good ideas. Bringing every ninja from the history of Naruto to this world was simply an impossible task.

Even if he used up all the Infinity Stones, it might not be achievable. However, bringing Hashirama Senju and Tobirama Senju back was no problem.

"I'll take care of your wish."

Tsunade turned around and looked at Charles, saying, "Do you know who my grandfather and second grandfather are?"

Charles nodded, "Hashirama Senju and Tobirama Senju!"

"Your wish will definitely be fulfilled. Trust me; there will be such a day when you'll see your grandfather and second grandfather again."

Looking at Charles's serious expression, Tsunade smiled and then, thinking of Charles's nickname, proudly said, "You're still far from my grandfather's level."

Afterward, Tsunade began to recount her childhood stories, and Charles became an eager listener.

On the other side-

At this moment, Kakashi and the others had already completed the cleanup of the East European vampire sub-clan. They looked at the damaged castle base in front of them.

Kakashi shook off the bloodstains on his silver short sword. These trash didn't deserve him using his father's Blade.

Looking at the people cleaning up the battlefield, Kakashi spoke, "Collect the blood cores and hand over the other things here to High Table for recycling. We will return to New York directly tomorrow."

Hearing that they would return tomorrow, Naruto jumped up excitedly, "Alright! I've missed Lord Charles so much. It's been a long time since I last saw him."

Sasuke, on the side, said, "Idiot!"

"Bast*rd, you're so annoying!"

"Crane tail!"

Seeing the two bickering, everyone had become accustomed to it. Whenever there was no mission, Naruto and Sasuke would argue. Although Naruto couldn't beat Sasuke, he was merciless with his words.

As the saying goes, a dead duck's mouth is hard.

Lee, who had just collected his loot, spoke, "After we go back this time, will there be new companions coming?"

Hearing the mention of new companions, Naruto and Sasuke stopped arguing. Even Kakashi, who usually had his mind on missions, began to think.

"New companions, we'll know when we go back, right?"

"There should be someone coming. After all, we sent back so many blood cores last time. We just don't know if we know the ones coming."

Selene and Michael also walked over from the side of the castle at this time, holding a bag of blood cores.

"All the blood cores have been collected. Should we go look for the African sub-clan next?"

"Recently, with vampires being cleared out on a large scale by us, it seems like the werewolves have become more active. I received information that some werewolves want to join us."

Hearing Selene's words, Kakashi shook his head, "Lord Charles has requested us to return as soon as possible. There are other tasks for us."

"As for the African sub-clan, let them live for a while longer."

"And for the werewolves wanting to join, report back to Lord Charles when we return. Let him decide how to arrange it."

"Leave the cleanup here to High Table. We're withdrawing now!"

"Yes!"

The next day-

When the morning sun shone on his face, Charles, who was sleeping, slowly opened his eyes. He shook his somewhat dizzy head, as he had drunk quite a bit last night.

Last night, he had accompanied Tsunade chatting until late into the night. When they got in the mood, the two of them went to the dining area, eating and drinking. They drank a lot of alcohol, played dice, and even rolled dice. It was lively.

Although nothing happened between Charles and Tsunade in the end, the relationship between the two had invisibly become much closer. The transition from superior and subordinate to friends had quietly happened, which was a good thing for Charles.

Stretching lazily, it was a beautiful day.

Sign-in!

Ding, sign-in successful, reward: 50,000 copper coins!

Seeing the reward was copper coins, Charles didn't care. After putting the copper coins away, he began to freshen up.

After a simple wash, he headed downstairs. Today was Tony's birthday, and he would attend the party with Tsunade tonight!
