Chapter 40 - Chapter 040

"Who are you?! Get off my ship!" Luffy angrily shouted at the uninvited guest.

"Who is she?" Nami asked Vivi.

"Her codename is Ms. All Sunday of Baroque Works and also the partner of our boss, Mr. Zero." Vivi took a step back in apprehension when seeing this woman.

Everyone also stared at Ms. All Sunday with caution.

Ms. All Sunday just smiled as she surveyed the crowd. Then her eyes paused at Luke who didn't even bothered to glance back at her.

"Don't worry. I've come in peace. Also, I received no instruction yet." Ms. All sunday noticed that, these pirates weren't much intimidated by her presence at all. They just kept a fair distance.

"What are you doing here?" Vivi started as Luffy and others don't want to strike a conversation with this visitor, well except for Sanji who already have hearts in his eyes.

"I just came here to see if you are doing good. And to think you made friends to help your soon to be a fallen kingdom." Ms. All Sunday felt amused while staring at Vivi.

"That is not true! I will never give up saving the citizens of the Kingdom." Vivi gritted her teeth in determination.

"Ne Luke, is she a good person?" Luffy asked Luke out of nowhere.

"Mm. She's very smart too and just like this princess here, she also have motives by joining her organization." Luke nodded as he yawned. He doesn't like the talk about politics. It will only gives him headache so the women's conversation bores him.

"Oh? What makes you say that, Mr. Luke?" Robin finally get to know the name of Luke through Luffy. However, she was surprised deep inside that the latter knew her intention of joining the organization.

Luke smiled at her without replying back.

This smile of Luke made Ms. All Sunday felt afraid for some reason.

"What? Impossible! But- But..." Vivi hesitated. She also a bit doubtful of Ms. All Sunday's intention. She just can't read this woman by helping her enter the organization. In fact, she came to know the secret of their boss through this woman.

"Anyway, all the members on the organization are in motion after your head." Ms. All Sunday smiled at Vivi. She continued, "However, maybe the organization don't need to make a move. Because the next island you're going next is your resting place forever. It is called Little Garden."

After she said her piece, Ms. All Sunday prepared to leave. In the original story, she gave the Strawhats an eternal log pose the island near Alabasta which the thing got destroyed by Luffy out of anger. Now, she didn't plan to because of Luke's existence.

Luke didn't mind this woman being stingy. That's his original intention too. He want the Strawhats to not skip any Islands they passed by to further broaden their knowledge.

"What a weird woman." Luffy stared at Ms. All Sunday riding a giant turtle who already left them behind.

"If I say so myself, Luke's words scared the shit out of her. That's why she left in a hurry." Zoro sniggered in the corner. He has keen eyes when observing body language. He knew the woman got tensed when Luke revealed something about her.

"She left in a cool way! What are you even blabbering about, you moss head?!" Sanji got pissed when someone mocked a lady. Even if she's a stranger, he will surely protect her dignity.

The men started to fight again making the crew very lively.

"Trainees! Huddle up!" Luke announced with a stern face.

Everyone flinched when they heard Luke.

"Whisky Peak incident is a total disaster in my view. Most of you don't even know you are being plotted against by these bounty hunters. Even if they feed you with poison, you all still accept it with open arms." Luke stated.

"But we have Liz to heal us if we get poisoned." Usopp said.

"Liz will soon depart from our team. In fact, you all don't know how her power works." Luke shook his head. He said, "She's not a real doctor. She doesn't even know a thing about medical terms. Her healing ability is also limited. Everytime she uses her healing ability, she will greatly consume her power and eventually loses her ability to heal."

"Is that true, Liz?" Nami asked Liz with concern.

Liz stared at Luke with profound meaning. She wanted to say something but hesitated. After a short hesitation, she nodded.

"Liz is not a disposable cattle you can use everytime. She's our Nakama. She will part with us soon and you ungrateful bunch don't even thank her after she heals you with your injuries. What will she think when she part with us? I don't even wanna know." Luke chided the group.

Everyone turned silent. They lowered their heads in shame.

"I will be more strict in your training from now on. Also, if someone got injured, Liz will not heal you. Endure it, that's the point of training."

"On the next island, during the process of restoring the log pose' magnetic force, none of you shall use devil fruit."

"You rely too much on easy training. This time, the real training is about to happen."

"If someone breaks my rules in this training, I will cease to train you further. If your Nakama is in danger, use your quick thinking."

Luke finished his words as everyone took a deep breath. With the guidance of Luke, they indeed improved so much within a short period of time.

"Alright! It's settled then! Whatever it is on that island that that weird woman warned us about, let's face it all without any upgrades!" Luffy announced to everyone. He gained a lot by having a clash with Luke. Although he loves adventure, he needed to familiarize that strange feeling by having a meditation on a quiet place.

Everyone then resumed their training.

Few days later...

The crew received a news paper.

"Luffy, look. That's Coby." Zoro pointed at Coby as the article was related to Morgan's escape.

Luffy also recalled his time with Coby and laughed how wimpy the guy was.

Luke also joined as he raised a brow.

"I don't think you also know Coby, right?" Zoro teased Luke. For him, Luke was like a intellegence network that knows everything. So he was testing if Luke really knew something about that wimpy guy.

Luke squinted his eyes at Zoro before he pointed at the person next to Coby.

"Garp? Everyone knows him. He's the marine hero." Zoro grinned in victory.

Everyone was curious about Luke's strange action. Of course they all knew the marine hero, Garp. However, there's something they were missing about.

Luke rolled his eyes as he said, "Say his name. Full name."

Zoro got puzzled as he subconsciously said, "His name is Monkey D. Garp."

Luke stared at Zoro as he waited. A few seconds past and the green head still didn't get it, he said, "Say it again, slowly."

Zoro frowned when his eyes widened.

In fact, everyone widened their eyes in surprise as they stared at Luffy in disbelief.

Meanwhile, Vivi was so lost that she kept asking what's going on.

Luke sipped his wine like a boss.

"Shishishishi! Told you. Don't ever provoke Luke's knowledge, or you'll end up in regret." Luffy grinned.

"No way! Luffy! Is marine hero Garp is your grandpa?" Usopp asked nervously.

"Yeah. Why? I just know he's a marine." Luffy replied.

Everyone stared at Luke in horror.

"Must be a fluke. We just too occupied that we didn't check that little detail before." Sanji didn't fully believe it since everyone knows the name of Garp.

Luke raised a brow at Sanji. He then smiled in mischief.

"I may not know everything but at least I can reveal something about you. Want me to share it to everyone?"

Sanji felt goosebumps all over his body. Each second he stared at Luke, he felt scared.

"T-Tsk! Fine! I give up!" Sanji nervously left the area as he continued his training.

Luke just chuckled which misinterpreted by everyone as evil laugh.

...

On Little Garden Island...

Two men were sitting on a giant skull...

"What are we doing here again?" A blue-haired man grumpily asked.

"Waiting..." A man with shoulder-length dark hair replied. The most distinct about this man is that, he has a sad looking eyes with teal lines descended below his eyes.

"Why?" The blue-haired man stared at the two giants fighting in the distance with bored look on his face.

"To capture a future God. A threat to the throne..." The dark haired man replied slowly.

"Tsk!" The blue haired man grumbled, but he didn't say anything else.
