"It is yours now. Don't consume it yet. Wait for others to pick their fruit."
Usopp dazedly went to the side as he carefully carried the Devil Fruit with trembling hands.
"Nami, you're next. Based on your personality and ability, I prepared three fruits for you." Luke kept the fruit he presented in his hand and three Devil Fruits magically floated in the air.
"Three!?" Everyone got surprised when they saw the fruits in the air.
Nami took a deep breath as she focused on every fruit.
"Now the first one is a mysterious type Special Paramecia Devil Fruit. This fruit has many functions too, mainly for convenience. Let's just say this fruit can affect your internal desire. The downside of this fruit is, if you can't control it, you'll end up hurting those who are close to you." Luke smiled mysteriously.
"Woah! This is a good Devil Fruit indeed! But that downside is very alarming too." Yosaku excitedly commented.
"So this Devil fruit is a double-edged one?" Sanji asked.
"Yes. If Nami unconsciously activated this power right now, bad omen will fall upon us." Luke nodded. He continued, "Anyway, all Devil Fruits are dangerous. It's just that, this fruit is a bit risky to take."
"Ergh! What a creepy Devil Fruit!" Johnny took a step back as he doesn't want to get closer to this kind of fruit.
Everyone also agreed.
Nami on the other hand remained calm and collected.
"Second is both offensive and defensive type Special Paramecia Devil Fruit. I can't explain much further because.. the look of this Devil Fruit speaks for everthing." Luke chuckled as the crowd examined the fruit.
"This.. is golden fruit?" Usopp gawked at the shining Devil Fruit.
"Gold... " Sanji was contemplating when he finally understood.
They glanced at Nami as they smiled wryly when they saw her predictable expression.
That's because Nami had berry signs on her eyes.
Luke chuckled as he presented the next fruit,
"Next is a Special Logia type Devil Fruit."
"Logia?"
They glanced at the spiky bluish Devil fruit. Since Luke presented it for the finale, then it should be a special one.
Meanwhile Nami was reaching the golden fruit in slow motion left and right as Luke prevented her from taking it. Nami looked like a cat right now while playing on her favorite toy.
"This fruit can summon a power of a God."
Everyone including Nami stared at Luke in utter disbelief. The power of a God? What does it mean? It means if Nami were to get it, she will become a God herself.
"Waaaah!!! Whyyy!?? Why do you have to say that Luke?! Nooooo!!!" Nami crumbled to the ground as she was having a breakdown.
"Like I said. Everything I presented is based on what you are." Luke chuckled as he explained.
"Even the third one?" Yosaku asked in confusion.
"Yes. This third Devil Fruit is based on weather. Nami is our navigator so this fruit is of course in line with her role." Luke replied.
"Luke, you are truly evil." Sanji commented as he saw Luke's intention. Luke was clearly tormenting Usopp and co by targeting their desires.
"Haha! Thanks for the compliment!" Luke rarely laughed as he stared at Nami with amusement.
Meanwhile, Luffy at Merry's head silently stared at Luke and the Devil Fruits with profound meaning in his eyes. Apparently, a conclusion formed in his mind as to why Luke left him for months.
"So Nami, choose one." Luke presented all the fruits to her once again. Whatever she chooses, he will respect it.
Nami was acting weird as she stared at Luke with puppy eyes. It was as if she's telling him he's the cause of her grievance.
"It's up to you. Liz is still waiting though." Luke ignored her protest.
"Aaaaah!!! You're making me crazy!!" Nami scratched her hair as she glared at Luke. She continued, "Okay. I'll choose the third, BUT!"
"I'll also take the golden fruit as a compensation! I won't consume it, but no one shall take it either! It's my property!"
Nami unceremonously took the two Devil Fruits before she huffed to the side.
"Hey! Big sis Nami! That's not fai-!"
Pow! Bang!
Yosaku didn't finish his words as he met with Nami's angry knockings.
"Alright. I guess I can make an exception for you." Luke only shrugged. He was indeed a bit overboard when he present those fruits on Nami.
"Next is Liz. Well, unfortunately I have no Devil Fruit that's related to healing."
"I don't need those anyway." Liz smiled while shaking her head.
"Okay. You can choose one of those Devil Fruits that Usopp and Nami didn't selected earlier. Then, I'll add a new selection to make it three choices."
"Sure! What's the third one?" Liz asked in curiosity.
"The third one is a Special Zoan Devil Fruit. If you consume this, you'll be able to roam to any places without being suspected or discovered." Luke explained a vague details of the Devil Fruit.
"Woah! That sounds awesome too! It sounds weird because it's a Zoan though." Yosaku's eyes shined in excitement but he didn't mind. He dreamt to roam in places without being noticed and this fruit is in line with his desire.
"You can have this." Liz picked the last fruit and gave it to Yosaku.
"H-Huh? Big sis Liz, it's not my turn yet though." Yosaku scratched his head. In his hand, a Devil Fruit silently laid.
"It's fine. I already chose mine." Liz smiled as she picked the fruit that Usopp didn't selected.
"You're last Johnny. I guess I have no choice but to give you this mysterious type Devil Fruit that Nami casted out." Luke teased as he pressed the fruit at Johnny.
"Noooo!! Big bro Luke! Have mercy on me!!" Johnny evaded like a squirming worm as he doesn't want such a fruit.
Luke chuckled as he tucked the fruit and he took a new one. He tossed it to Johnny as he said,
"This is the last one. You can have this. If you consume this fruit, there's only one outcome." He paused before he continued,
"You'll become crazy strong."
"..."
"There's even a 'crazy' tag in it? How strong can that Devil Fruit be?" Sanji muttered as he also like the idea of having a Devil Fruit.
"ANIIIKI!! You are so good to me! I love you to death!!" Johnny jumped at Luke to give him a 'manly kiss' when the latter slapped him to the side.
"Alright, line up! Prepare to consume the fruit at once and show us a trick or two about your newfound power." Luke waved his hand to announce.
"Begin!"
