Several other guards came out of the manor gates. They recognized Henry and bowed to him.
"Where are we?" Felicia asked.
"We're in the private manor of the Second Imperial Princess Lalaminea!" the guard explained with excitement and pride.
"Is that why you had the manor cleaned and stuff?" Henry asked. He guessed it as he realized that the manor looked better compared to the last time he had been here.
"Yes. She arrived recently." The guard nodded his head.
Everything made sense, except why would she suddenly invite him?
"Follow me."
The magus had been silent earlier. He led the way into the manor.
Henry found it odd. He didn't enter the manor last time, and he had no right to. This time, he was their guest.
As they got close, several beautiful maids walked out of the manor and greeted them. The show of respect told Henry that the Imperial Princess intended to befriend him.
