Chapter 60 - Unknown Organization

"Felicia, has your master always been like this?" Judy asked, complaining.

"Um… He's inwardly kind, but he's never romantic."

Felicia blinked after answering. She felt surprised at the way Judy interacted with Henry.

"Hmph. So you're only good at magic?"

Judy stood up and put her hands on her hips. She frowned and looked at him with disappointment.

"Women: They will only distract me from finding the truth of magic."

Henry shrugged his shoulders.

Except for his master, all the women he encountered in his past life were a distraction. If he dabbled in romance in the past, he would most likely never have reached close to his peak.

"You want to die alone?" Judy asked.

She was annoyed at him now. She wanted to fix his bent view of romance.

"…"

Henry immediately became silent from her words. He avoided her gaze and looked out at the window.

He didn't want to die alone, but that didn't mean he needed to find romance. He now had Felicia. At the very least, he would not die alone as she would accompany him most of his life.

"So you don't want to, but your words are mean."

Judy smirked. She was happy being correct.

"Enough of this discussion. I want to teach you how to use sword magic."

Henry stood up from his seat.

Judy shook her head and smiled smugly. She let him go.

"Wait. You forgot. I need to tell you something first."

"Say it quick."

Henry walked to the door.

"There is a large organization behind the Center Empire's actions."

Henry paused and turned back. It wasn't as simple as he expected.

"The current mayor of Virtue City begged for safety and gave us the information. We confirmed it with some others."

"What kind of organization is this?"

"We have no idea. We only know that it influenced all the other empires greatly. They couldn't influence us a lot because of the presence of our emperor. It seems like they were afraid of a Forbidden-class magus."

Henry became silent in thought.

This organization sounded mysterious. For it to be unknown in the Empire, it must have avoided most of the magi here.

And for it to influence all the empires… It must be powerful. Whoever the leader was should be of a high level.

"Thanks for letting me know."

Henry shifted his focus from the Center Empire to this organization. Cleaning them up should be a good pastime. He wouldn't have cared if they didn't try to ambush him.

"Oh. Additionally, the ambush targeted you in Virtue City to deliberately make a scene. We found that out from our following investigation," Judy added.

After they extinguished the Center Empire's influence, they went around and collected their belongings for evidence. It was fairly easy as there were lots of clues.

"So efficient. How did you know who they were?" Henry asked, surprised.

It was a little unbelievable. They so easily took down another Empire's influence in a single day. And they only had about a week of preparation.

"You underestimate the academy, Henry. Our Empire has three Grand-class and one Forbidden-class. We have lots of influence over our territory. In truth, we knew someone was trying to establish a foothold in Virtue City.

"The Principal took note of the people who acted suspiciously."

"You should be the Principal next," Henry casually said, exiting the apartment.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Judy was surprised.

Knowing him, she didn't expect that he would say those words. It was unlike her impression of him.

Henry didn't elaborate and walked down the stairs.

"Do you know what he means?" Judy asked Felicia behind her.

"He wants you to become the next Principal."

Felicia knew Henry the most. She was familiar with his quirks, especially after he regained the memories of his past life.

"Hehe?"

Judy was amazed. Henry cared for her, but he didn't admit it openly.

Felicia saw the look on Judy's face and didn't elaborate. She guessed there was more to this that Henry wasn't letting on. It might be related to them leaving soon.

In the academy, there was an area designated for practicing spells. This place was expansive and located outside the academy's defensive magic circuit.

Any spells here could display their full power. The only worry here would be safety. Some spells might go out of control as the students here would be experimenting.

Currently, many students waved their hands and chanted spells in this place. Wonderful colors flashed from left and right.

When Henry, Felicia, and Judy arrived, the gazes of many landed on their group. They were eye-catching because of Judy's presence.

Moreover, a lot of them recognized Henry. It was hard to find students who didn't know him. His portrait spread to the students, and everyone took note to avoid making trouble with him.

His history was something everyone knew. He would not bite as long as you didn't bite first.

Henry looked at Judy.

"Where is your sword?" he asked.

"Here."

Judy touched a ring on her finger, and it glowed a blue light. The blue light flowed into the shape of a sword and dimmed, revealing a magic sword in its scabbard.

"A Space Ring?" Henry raised an eyebrow.

"Hehe. Like it? The Principal gave it to me for killing that Master-class magus."

Judy smiled proudly. It was the best thing ever. She could store anything in it, such as her sword, which was bulky to carry all the time.

"A good item." Henry nodded.

He remembered he had one in the past. It must be already destroyed as he didn't expect it to last till this day.

"Are you sure we can do it out in the open?" Judy asked one more time to make sure.

"Yes. If they learned, that's fine."

Henry smiled. He taught magic for the sake of spreading it. He didn't do it for the sake of teaching.

Henry earned a lot of respect from Judy. She looked at him closer and saw he wasn't lying. His words were said with genuineness and familiarity.

It wasn't the first time he answered that question. At least, that was the feeling she got.
