Henry's life magic healed the wounds from the shattered ice piercing her skin. A comfortable feeling spread across Lalaminea's whole body.
She stared at him with a confused face.
"Where did you know the quote?" Lalaminea asked.
She wondered what was going on inside his head. His face oozed sadness and longing. It was a complicated emotion she didn't think would come from him.
"It's a long story."
Henry refused to elaborate further. He was the only one who knew that his previous life's memories were fragmented. He didn't tell Felicia because she wasn't worthy of knowing such a sensitive piece of information.
Lalaminea sat up from the bed. She didn't know what to say or how to process this series of events.
"What are you going to do now?"
"I don't know."
Henry stared at her. He lacked any idea what to do with Lalaminea. He thought of defeating her, but he didn't consider what to do after he did so.
