It surprised Henry. He held the token at arm's length. He feared it would suddenly explode with its volatile contents of hate and vengeance.
But instead of that, the token sucked itself onto his hand. It stayed firmly in place. Henry tried letting go of it. It didn't fall after he opened his hand wide open.
While he wondered what was happening, the token swooshed and dragged him with it.

Henry stiffened his arm and regained his balance. He ran with the token, and it led him to the pillar to the next level.
He was surprised by the sudden change. Ultimately, he was unphased by it.
It pulled him inside and brought him to the next level.
Not only that. It continued and pulled him up all of the levels. As he reached higher and higher, Henry sensed the aura of the library change.
It slowly filled with an intense aura of hatred.
At the 99th level, the token stopped and flew out of Henry's hand.
