At the High-class, a magus could float a few inches in the air. This increased their agility in their battles, allowing them to avoid spells narrowly.
"As you already know, all magi can use Earth magic. Some are more proficient than others, but overall, everyone can do it."
To float, a magus must use Earth magic to repulse the attraction of the ground. They wouldn't float that high, but it nonetheless allowed them to be agile. It was a challenging ability to master.
Due to its difficulty, most magi rarely floated. Otherwise, there was a higher chance they would trip and embarrass themselves.
But, of course, that kind of difficulty was nothing to Henry.
He tapped his right foot on the ground and floated. A continuous pulse of brown energy pushed him up and held his weight.
He used both of his feet and floated several inches in the air.
