"Henry, we're all students here, so I will be frank. Ma'am Judy is mine!"
"...I don't even know you." Henry blinked his eyes.
This guy didn't even introduce himself.
"Right! My name is Correal. Pleased to meet you," he said and shook Henry's hand.
He turned to glance at Felicia and ignored her. It was obvious that Felicia was a country bumpkin from her body language.
He didn't fancy her.
"Did you get what I mean? Ma'am Judy is my woman!" Correal reiterated with sharp intent.
"I don't care. I don't fancy her."
Henry walked past and ignored the crazy person. He didn't even do anything romantic to Judy earlier.
From his actions, Henry could tell that he was insecure about Judy. Perhaps, he hadn't succeeded in conquering her heart at all.
"Hey!" one of the men behind Correal stopped Henry. "Let him go."
Correal pulled his shoulder and prevented him from touching Henry.
"Boss..."
"He's not simple."
Correal could see that Henry was hiding a lot of things. The subtle confidence he exuded told him that he had the means to retaliate if push came to shove.
Henry was shadowed by Felicia as they walked through the campus. Students would recognize them and make way like they were harboring contagious diseases.
The two found an empty seat at a remote corner of the academy campus and sat. Felicia smiled at Henry.
"De—, Master, what food should I get? I overheard some students talking about a food court. I've never been to that kind of place."
Felicia was eager to try out everything the academy had to offer.
"Mother, you can get anything you want since it's free. You know what I like," Henry smiled at her.
She was his mother. He trusted that she knew what he liked.
"All right, Dear," Felicia replied.
She was happy that Henry still recognized her as his mother even to this day. She had received a lot of his teachings which made it hard for her to call him 'Dear'.
Felicia left happily. Henry watched her leave.
The present was precious to Henry. He didn't have a past to rely on anymore. He cherished Felicia who loved him as her son.
Henry closed his eyes and sensed the accumulation of mana within his body.
Mana clumped in his arms. Once the mana reached his torso, he would be able to siphon mana from the environment and accelerate the process.
This process needed to be gradual and steady. Many magi made the mistake of rushing through the classes only to realize at a late stage that they made a weak accumulation of mana.
Henry could barely remember that such a thing happened to him before. It wasn't clear, but his instincts were telling him to take it slow. He had all the time in the world at the moment.
He had no enemies and no goal he needed to rush. It was a relaxed feeling.
A few minutes later, Henry felt the wind change, and he opened his eyes. A young man stood a distance from him. He looked shy and jumped a bit when Henry looked over.
"Who are you?" Henry asked.
He already expected this guy to be here to look for trouble. He asked his name because the previous one didn't introduce himself and babbled immediately.
"Realle! Henry, are you really a disciple of a great master?"
The young man kneeled swiftly before him.
Henry was taken aback. He could see desperation in the eyes of this person.
"Yes. He's not looking for disciples!" Henry shot him down.
He knew what was wrong already. It was easy to see through the heart of a young man who looked desperate.
"H-how did you know?" Realle froze in horror.
Henry looked away from him and pretended he didn't see him. He didn't like to be disturbed over such a matter.
"Did Reana tell you!?" Realle shouted in anger.
"…"
Henry didn't respond. He glanced behind a bush and blinked his eyes.
"She did…"
Realle thought that Henry agreed because of his silence.
"Is that her?" Henry curiously asked, pointing at a twin-tailed woman behind the bush.
Realle swiveled his head and widened his eyes. He shouted, "Reana! You bitch!"
"Realle! You don't have any dignity!" Reana shouted back and stood up from the bush, seeing that there was no point in hiding anymore.
Henry noticed something peculiar about the two as soon as they both appeared.
Realle had brown hair and thick, sharp eyebrows. It was similar to Reana, and it gave her a breathtaking feminine appearance. If only she didn't have her hair on twin tails, she would be perfect.
"You actually sold your body!" Realle shouted.
"Where'd that come from!?" Reana stomped her foot in anger.
The two started arguing in front of Henry.
"Hey! Argue somewhere else!" Henry shooed them like bugs. He glared at the twins.
Realle glared at his sister and pulled her away. She shoved him off and walked with him. There was a mutual understanding between them.
"…"
Henry was amazed. It might not be easy to tell, but their similar appearance, sibling arguments, and subtle mutual understanding told him the answer.
They disappeared. Henry didn't know whether to laugh or cry at that random thing happening to him.
"What happened?" Felicia asked as she walked over.
She glanced at the twins leaving. She bit on the sausage on her skewer and chewed.
"Sibling argument."
"Oh. Dear, these things called sausages taste good! I've only seen nobles eat these before," Felicia said and smiled. She handed him two skewers.
"Thanks."
Henry took them and started eating. The duo happily spent time together.
After a while, Henry finished and stood up.
"Let's go earn Contribution Points!"
Henry smirked. Judy mentioned it earlier. As long as contributions were made, a student could earn points and exchange them for benefits in the academy.
She didn't explain it much as it was not required. Only those who wanted something other than becoming magi would strive to earn those points.
"Yes!"
