First, the trio walked into the City Guild. There were many magi in the the building. Their mana relentlessly leaked out of their bodies, scaring the mortals away.
Henry's group walked through them and arrived at the board. Requests of various difficulty were tacked on it. Just like the previous cities, they were either for help or for making a rich person's life easier.
However, there was a stark difference that Henry noticed. A wide section was dedicated for Master-class magi. A few of those Requests involved hunting monsters and collecting their parts or blood.
Most of these were requested by the city.
"They're using monsters to feed plants?" Henry guessed.
"You can do that?" Felicia asked in surprise.
"It's not strange. Magical plants can digest anything you feed it. Then it will absorb some of the properties of what they digested. These could then increase the efficacy or remove an unwanted side effect."
"Ohhh…"
