As soon as their eyes met, they were both surprised.
"It's them!"
The mayor of the royal capital grinned.
Henry was ready. He pointed his old staff forward. A flood of lightning escaped and crackled with thunder. It released a blinding purple light that blinded everyone.
The old man was at the front. His eyes widened, but that was still too to react to the sudden onslaught of lightning.
It hit his body and burnt his insides. He froze and the lightning disappeared.
*Plop*
His body fell forward.
Henry made eye contact with Felicia and told her to take care of Purity.
"You have to explain!"
The mayor was shocked. He jumped out of the carriage and moved far away.
The doors of the rest of the carriages opened and various magi walked out. They glared at Henry and anger appeared in their eyes after seeing the corpse of the old man.
"Is there a need?"
Henry took a step. He pulled out the Violet Skies Sword.
