"Put my mind in the gutter?"
Purity tilted her head, confused.
"I mean, stop thinking about lewd things. I'm not that kind of a person. I don't want a misunderstanding."
Henry took another sip of his tea. It was bad for his reputation.
"…"
Purity didn't reply. Rather, she avoided his gaze and drank more of the tea.
Henry guessed that she didn't trust him. He sighed again. It was hard to deal with someone who couldn't spare an ounce of trust.
He didn't want to put in any more effort than he needed to.
"What would it take for you to trust me?" Henry asked straight to the point.
"Free me," Purity said and blinked her eyes.
"I can't."
"There you go," Purity replied rhetorically.
"Whatever."
Henry shrugged his shoulders.
"I won't tell you my story too."
Purity sneaked a glance.
"That's fine. I don't need to know."
Henry drank the last bit of his tea and stood up. He stared at her.
