According to the documents, a mountain troll was a rare monster. It would stay in its lair and set up the most elaborate trap in order to secure food.
The document cited that the troll changed its traps several times. The list of all of them was written, and they were proven with blood.
Every few days, an unfortunate hiker, adventurer, or mercenary would unknowingly enter its territory and trigger the trap. Most of the time, they would die, and those who survived lived on and reported their experience.
It was bad enough that many rich nobles pooled money to support a higher reward for the Request. One way or another, they lost a person to the troll.
