The news bearer shouted loudly. His words reached the inside of the house and caused a rustling sound inside.
A few seconds later, the raspy man jumped out of the front door.
"What happened?!"
"There is a magus on his way to assassinate us!"
"Magus!"
"Not just a magus, but a Master-class magus!"
"Tell that first, idiot!"
The raspy man hit the news bearer. And without slowing down, he entered the house again.
Henry was surprised at the sudden development. It was fairly obvious that someone in the City Guild informed them. Whoever it was, Henry didn't like how he tried to interfere with his opportunity to earn money.
Eight seconds later, three people ran out of the house.
