" Leave. Follow him. From today onwards the Dhar family disown you! We will have nothing to do with a shameless thing like you."
I feel like I've been drowned in ice, I can feel my teeth clattering, my vision is blurred.

" Mira! Wait! " The words escape my lips as I watch Mira running. I'm about to run after her when a strong arm grabs me from behind. I try shrugging it off but I can't. Who is it?
I turn to see Shantell coming towards me.The guy holding me back looks familiar but where did I see him?
" You're trying to escape after ditching my friend? No bro, you can't leave." He sneers threateningly.
"Ajunno! Is it true? Did you really want to marry Mira while you're betrothed to me?" Shantell has tears in her eyes.
" Shantell I can't do this right now. I have bigger problems."
A loud slap lands on my cheek.
" You bastard! You drag my family name in the mud and tell me you have bigger problems?"
The crowd murmurs but I don't pay any attention to them. Shantell is staring at me with so much anger it could burn down the the whole building.
" Screw you Ajunno!" She spits and storms out, the guy going after her.
The media must be having a field day but I have no time.

What the fuck is happening?
I'm married? I really got married.
I know I also ruined a marriage. Not just anyone's but milk girl's. She really has terrible luck.
At first, I hadn't realized she was the one. She looked so beautiful and refined. Well, thanks to everything, I couldn't leave quietly. I always loved good shows but I had no time. Darken's men were so close on me I had to find a way out.
I had escaped to the garage and I'm stealthily opening my car when someone grabs my wrist.
"Wait, I can- Damn, you scared me! Why are you following me?" I ask angrily.
" Mister, you can't just marry me and then leave. I have nowhere else to go."

" Hey Barbie! I would really like a chat but I don't have the time for it okay?"
" You are just as annoying and rude as the last time we met and I really hate you but as much as I hate to say this, you're now my husband. I'm going with you."
" No!" My voice is a low growl and she cowers but I don't finish my threat.
A shot shatters a car close by. Shit! Before I can register anything, I'm speeding out of the venue in the bullet proof car Rahid had the sense to prepare for me. Two cars are hot on my trail shooting at the tires occasionally.
And no. She didn't stay behind.

In another city, the Manuels villa, there is loud crashing and screams. A maid runs into the room and gasps with horror.
"Madam, your father has demanded your presence twice already now. What do l-"
" You! How dare you reprimand me?"
A vase hits the maid and crashes to the floor.
" How dare you go against me you dirty bitch?"
" Ahh... I'm sorry Madam. I didn't mean to."
The beautiful figure leap on the maid, giving her heavy slaps. By the time she stops, the maid is looking bloody and miserable.
" Get lost before I make dinner out of you!" The madam roars, her eyes full of murderous intent.
The maid had no doubt that she would be killed if she dared stay. With blood seeping down her wounds, she limps out shutting the door tightly behind her. She had a loose tooth or two but she knew she was lucky.
" I'm just a maid from a poor family. They can kill me and go unquestioned. " She thought, grateful to make it out alive.
" You stole what belonged to me! I will torment you till you beg for death. I will be your retribution, I will be your karma. You will not escape my clutch! Arghhh! " The Madam's voice bellowed, crashing things to the floor again.
The maid shivered with fear. " Who was so brave to court death?"

That punk! I had no idea he could be so cunning.
When he suddenly disappeared at the party, we thought he was still hiding. If that drama did not unfold, we would have left without knowing he was still there! My men are hot on his trail now. I just wish we could kill him. I pick up my phone to deploy more forces when the screen lit up with dread. My blood freezes and my fingers are numb. I hit the accept button.
" Bob, don't capture him outrightly. We have company. "
