3rd POV
"Output... Limiter...?" Rachel asked while cutely tilting her head in confusion, totally not ignoring the horde of monsters behind her that numbered in thousands.
"Oh right, I forgot, you don't know that either..." Hajin said, sighing again.
"Well, you remember when I used my power on the Island right?"
"Yes." She answered while still focused on Hajin, instead of being focused on the monsters, but it was not she wasn't aware, she was just that sure that they couldn't harm her and Hajin after he told her about her new found powers and it's capabilities.
"Well, I was using this limiter back than." Hajin replied. He said it so nonchalantly that to those who didn't knew, he sounded arrogant, but to those who knew, they knew for sure he was talking the truth.
"..." Rachel starred at her. Even though she said she wouldn't be surprised anymore multiple times, she was, again, astonished. It wasn't that she didn't believe him, it was just that she couldn't even think that the enormous power she felt back than was not his full power.
"Seeing that you somewhat don't understand. Let me explain. An output limiter, as the name suggests, limits the output of one's power. It's mostly used when you want to get rid of your enemies but not destroy everything else in the process." He explained, than added more.
"To describe it's effeciency, the being who gave us both our powers previously said that my power was enough to easily destroy this planet while still holding back by a great deal. That's why I use the limiter everytime I use my powers so I don't accidently end up causing mass-destruction. And now, since you have similar and equal powers as well, you can also do what I can. So you also HAVE TO use the limiter everytime." He ended his long explanation.
"Do you understand now?"
"..." Rachel could only node in silence. She couldn't believe that she had such powers. She also couldn't understand why she received those powers. Not to be rude, but some stranger's voice randomly sounding in your head and giving you such powers are way too suspicious in her way of thinking, or actually, in any sane peson's way of thinking.
"So, do you know how to use the output limiter?" Hajin asked but she shaked her head in denial.
"Well, okay. It's not hard to use, so it won't be difficult to teach you right away." He said. "Now, try to imagine your powers in your mind."
"Hmm." She hummed, seemingly saying that she understood.
"Good, now tell me, what do you see?"
"Uhh... I see... a dark place, it's completely dark with no light... it's like a v-void that is devoid of anything... Oh wait, I can see something else, it's... a dark energy? It's purple, but my mind says it doesn't have a color."
"I can feel it... it's... destructive, but at the same time, it's... calm? It's like eternal rest, but it's also destruction. Eternal and ever-lasting destruction of everything to attain that rest. It's something like that. I can't understand or describe it, but I also can...?"
"Oh, that's the nature of your power. You see, I and you have the same powers, just, opposite in nature, but the same in base. Mine's like total non-existence that is caused by endless destruction, it's Chaos. While your power's nature is eternal rest, rest that is attained by destroying everything, To put it in simple terms, your power is the calm before the storm, while my power is the storm."
"Oh..."
"Ok. Let's leave that as it is, now, try to wish for that energy you see to decrease, Wish for it to be less destructive, wish for the eternal rest to dominate and break the balance." Hajin said.At the same time, Hajin moved his empty hand towards the monsters that were now just a few tens of meters away from them and rushing towards them, huge serpents, dragons, goblin lords, ogres and ogre warriors, arch-elementals and much more. However, he didn't seem fazed by them at all.
He just kept in that position for a few seconds while thinking of something. Than, he uttered in a low voice,
"Erase."
All voices stopped. The monsters stopped. Everything in that room, not a single soul was moving except him and Rachel. At just a single word, everythng stopped, as if frozen in space.
What he did here was that using his Nihlity, he created a semi-void around the monsters. Why a semi-void and not just "void"? Well, Void is, the lack of space and time, and everything that exists. It lacks everything, but that's mainly because it lacks space, it can't hold anything, nothing can occupy it as it doesn't even exist. Nothing can flow in it was time doesn't exist. From the outside, it seems small, like a small black sheet, but for those inside, it's also infinitely large. As there is no concept of space, there is no concept of boundary either, there's no limit to how far it can stretch.
However, the void that Hajin created was not a perfect void. It lacked time, that was why the monsters were moving, but space still existed. Although in general, Space and Time cannot exist without each other, that only applies to a reality with only logic and science. In a reality with logic-defying magic and magic that can change the laws of the world, something like this is not impossible.
It wasn't that Hajin couldn't make a perfect void, it's because if he did, the monsters would cease to exist, the void would eat their existence. That's why he only erased time, so the space that was present could still hold the monsters. It wasn't that he couldn't kill the monsters, it was because he wanted Rachel to use her powers, so she, with her own eyes and senses, could see how strong her own power is.
"Mm, it's decreasing. It's not at a past rate, but it's decreasing slowly."
"Hmm, nice. Now turn this way." He said as he asked Rachel to turn her face towards Hajin.
"Now, since you have gotten a hold of it, I'll transfer the skill to you direclty. Come here."
Rachel came even closer to Hajin, and Hajin slowly extended his face towards Rachel while grabbing Rachel's chin in one of his hands. Rachel, seeing this, suddenly got embarrassed thinking that he was coming close for a kiss. She squinted her eyes but soon let it go. She closed her eyes and lowered her guard, expecting the kiss to come anytime.
"..." Hajin, seeing this, was lost in his words and couldn't understand this reaction. However, he recomposed himself and proceeded to do what he was about to. Meanwhile Rachel still thought that he was gonna kiss her. But...
But it didn't come.
Hajin just got close enough for their forehead to touch each other. He had no intention of kissing her in the first place, at least, not in a place and at a time like this.
When Rachel opened her eyes again thinking why she didn't feel the sensation she was expecting, she got embarrased again that Hajin only meant to touch their forehead together.
'why do I feel... sad... wait why am I thinking that?! Why did I expect a kiss in the first place?! Right... this is not the time for that... I still need to try harder!' She thought in her mind, but unknown to her, Hajin had heard it all through the rune link. Since she didn't, or probably forgot, to wish for this to not be shared, it got heard by Hajin as well.
Now Hajin regretted it, if he knew before that Rachel wouldn't mind, he would have kissed her instead. He also had the perfect excuse that it was so he could transfer the skill. Now he regretted thinking too quickly.
"..." He kept in that position in silence at a lost for words. But still, this was not the time, they could think of these things somewhere else, for now, they had to take care of something.
"Focus." Hajin said.
"Y-yesh!" She shuttered and bit her tongue because she couldn't think straight at the moment.
This made her even more embarrassed and she turned completely red for a second. Meanwhile, Hajin, who had already opened his eyes, could only think of one thing.
'Cute!' He suddenly had the urge to hug Rachel or pat her head, but he knew this was not the time for that. They could do these things when they were inside their room.
Still, she regained her composure soon and focused on her powers as Hajin had said. As expected of a princess, controlling emotions was easy as long as she had a reason to hide them.

'Close'
Hajin closed his system window as the process was finished. Meanwhile, Rachel had received the skill. At first, she felt a weird sensation enter her mind, but soon, she began receiving information on what the skill exactly was and how to use it. It was her system that was generating this information as it's host had received a new skill. So, it began doing work it was assigned to.
"Did you feel anything change?" Hajin asked.
"Yes... I felt information entering my mind. I also felt the rate of my power decreasing to increase."
"Good. That means you've acquired the skill. Now, perform the next actions along with me."
"Mm, okay."
Hajin took her hand and held it firmly while crossing his fingers with her's. He than pointed his hand at the monster, while Rachel followed his actions and did the same.
"Now, in your mind, think of using the skill you received. When you feel like the skill has actived. Your system will ask a question to set the output limit. Set it at 2%."
"... just that much? Isn't that too small?"
"No, it never is. You will realize it when you do so."
"... okay."
Meanwhile Hajin also did the same.
'Activate Skill'
'Output Limit : 2%'
"Done?" Hajin asked as he was done putting his limiter to work.
"Yes. Now what?" She asked as she had also done the same. Although, it took her more time than Hajin because she was new to this.
"Now I'll send the chant in your mind, say it along with me. It isn't really required as our powers aren't really magic, they're something beyond, so they don't require chanting. But we'll use it to further limit our power's range while increasing the concentration in one direction only, that way, things that are below or behind us won't be affected as well."
"So... it's like how swordsmen concentrate to shape their sword aura so it doesn't spread into the nature and get wasted, so they concentrate and shape it to only flow in one direction, the sword?"
"... something like that."
"Now, let's begin."
Hajin said as he lifted his other hand that was empty into the sky.
'[Cancel Void]. [Gravity Reverse]. [Levitate].'
He cancelled the void that was stopping the monsters at one place, but also reversed the gravity and added one more skill to make them float in the air.
Hajin than transferred the chant to Rachel's mind and took a deep breath.
[A/N : Warning, kinda cringe in my opinion, but meh, I wanted something cool so this is the only one that came to mind]
""That which not exists -- The raging chaos in the non-existence,
The Ultimate Supreme Power that resides in the void,
The Primordial Destruction that precedes All of Creation,
The power that created all that there is and what there is not,
The Primordial Power of Chaos that rules over everything,
I command! Manifest into the world,
Obey my command and erase all I that I desire of,
Expand, My Eternal Immortal Kingdom,
Disintegrate them all... ""
""TURN NULL""
