Su Xin deployed two types of forces in the Northwestern Province: one was the Hidden Guard, specifically responsible for dealing with elite military strength and intelligence information.
The other was the army on the surface, so not only were people brought from the Jiangnan and Jianghuai regions to be placed within the Northwestern Troops, but Su Xin also had to recruit a large number of martial artists from the local area under his command, on the condition that they must have reached at least the Intermediate Postnatal level.
While others may see using Postnatal martial artists as ordinary soldiers as somewhat extravagant, this was always Su Xin's strategy—quality forever over quantity.
