Chapter 5 - Chapter 4: I am Better with my Right Hand_1

Outside the Drunken Moon building, Su Xin marveled at the intricately carved eaves, adorned with glided gold, that gave the structure an unmatched opulence.

Compared to the ubiquitous dwellings in Changle Square, this place seemed to be from a whole different world.

"Hold it! The Flying Eagle Gang has claimed this place. Find somewhere else to play." Seeing Su Xin trying to enter the Drunken Moon building, a young member of the Flying Eagle Gang immediately blocked his way.

Su Xin said, "I'm here to see Liu Sandao."

"How dare you! You think you can just speak Brother Liu's name casually?"

The gang member berated, but immediately broke into a cold sweat.

Su Xin's comically primitive Iron Chip Sword was already at his throat before anyone could know it!

"Can I go in now?"

The gang member anxiously nodded his head, fearing Su Xin might make a fatal move.

Slowly withdrawing his sword, Su Xin calmly said, "Stay low-profile. You are just a little gang boss. Do you have to scare people off with such a grand display?"

Entering the Drunken Moon building, the scene Liu Sandao had set up was even more extravagant than he had imagined.

Since becoming a gang boss, Liu Sandao had amassed sixty or seventy gang members under his command, all of whom were concentrated in the Drunken Moon building, eyeing Su Xin menacingly.

"Tsk, tsk, Liu Sandao, you certainly seem to be enjoying your position quite a bit, don't you?"

People from the Flying Eagle Gang couldn't help but look towards Liu Sandao.

His betrayal of his own brothers to secure his current position was already known to all. Now that the aggrieved party had struck back, they were curious as to what Liu Sandao might have to say.

After all, respect and integrity were of paramount importance in the Jianghu.

Liu Sandao's actions had deeply shamed them all.

However, it was clear everyone had underestimated how shameless Liu Sandao was.

In response to Su Xin's accusation, he said, "Su Xin, you shouldn't blame me. This position suits me better than it does you. I have been with the Flying Eagle Gang for over a decade and have countless brothers under me. Furthermore, I have been planning for this position for so long. If you aim to seize it now, don't blame my ruthlessness! Justice of Jianghu? It's nothing but child's play!"

Chen Dao, who was lazily standing behind Liu Sandao, then said, "Enough chatter! If you're going to kill him, then just do it."

"Brother Chen, should I send my men to test his mettle before you step in?" Liu Sandao asked quietly.

"Test what? If it wasn't for your five hundred silvers, asking me to attack a youngster would have been degrading enough. If you add in a gang fight, how am I supposed to save face? Do you think I am Liu Sandao, ready to abandon all my dignity?"

At Chen Dao's words, Liu Sandao's face turned pale, then red, but he dared not say anything else.

"Kid, don't blame me when you die. I'm just settling a debt on behalf of others. If you're unlucky enough to meet me, you brought it on yourself."

Chen Dao stood up, flexing his hands. His Iron Palms glowed black under the candlelight.

"Is that so? But I feel the bad luck is really on you."

A glint of a smile flashed across Su Xin's face. The next moment, his sword had been drawn!

The rusty Iron Chip Sword was thrust with impressive speed and at an uncanny angle, which took Chen Dao by surprise.

Having seen the injuries of his fifth brother, Chen Dao thought he had understood Su Xin's capabilities. However, it wasn't until Su Xin landed this strike that Chen Dao realized he had severely underestimated him!

In this critical moment, Chen Dao's decades of martial arts intuition kicked in.

Just when Su Xin's sword was a hair's breadth from his throat, Chen Dao abruptly bore his right foot downward, causing the green stone floor to crack under the stress. This caused his body to tilt to the right, allowing the sword to just miss his throat.

"Clang!" His sword was now trapped under Chen Dao's firm grip.

His hands turned completely black, as if made of metal.

At its peak, the Iron Sand Palm could shatter gold and split rocks- the Iron Chip Sword was unlikely to do any harm.

Chen Dao let out a sigh of relief and a hint of a smile appeared on his lips. "Such a quick and vicious sword! But your strength is still too...uh!"

He was cut off mid-sentence. Not because he didn't want to continue, but because Su Xin had punctured his throat!

There was a bamboo chopstick lodged in Chen Dao's throat, just an ordinary one. It was the very same chopstick Su Xin had pocketed while eating steamed dumplings earlier.

Jin Wuming's strength was in his left-handed swordplay, which was unpredictable and lethal.

But his true prowess lay in right-handed swordplay!

Earlier, Su Xin had used his right hand to shove the chopstick into Chen Dao's throat. Everyone else hadn't even realized what had happened.

In everyone's knowledge, a swordsman who had dedicatedly practiced using his left hand would certainly not practice using the right one. But in the case of Jin Wuming, and hence Su Xin, who learned swordsmanship from him, this rule did not apply.

Liu Sandao was disbelievingly staring at Su Xin.

Chen Dao is actually dead? He, who far surpassed the strength of an ordinary gang boss, had been killed by Su Xin in two moves?

Watching Su Xin approach him, Liu Sandao immediately shoved one of his gang members towards Su Xin and turned to flee.

The gang member was caught off guard and by the time he reacted, he had already been pushed towards Su Xin, the Killing God.

"Betraying your brothers at a crucial moment, Liu Sandao, this is what you're best at!"
