On a small beach, an athletic and tired looking young man was watching the waves. Resentment and grief deep rooted in his eyes.
Aqua was sitting on the remains of what once was a warship. He just stared at the ocean with spite, unsure when the Song would get to him and his twin.
Shio, silent as always, sat next to him. They looked so different, Shio`s hair was as black as the ocean at night, he had blue eyes, and a slender build. While Aqua had the look of a surfer, the curly hair, the V-shaped torso, and broad shoulders that came along.
The beach was quiet, neither of the brothers knew what to say. In any other situation the view would marvel anyone, for them it was a ghostly sight as they didn't even know if they'd be seeing each other the next day.
Maybe for the last time Aqua looked at his brother and said: "this isn't the end, tomorrow we'll be swimmers, this won't end until we reach the top."
Shio sighed, a tear ran down his cheek, he didn't know what to say. He looked down, then at the deep blue before him and then at Aqua, the reason he was alive today.
"You know, it never had to be this way, but I guess everything happens for a reason. We've lost too much to the sea, now's time for us to get something out of it. I'll be back because I know you'll be back too." Aqua knew this was a goodbye.
Aqua and Shio didn't resist the Song and let themselves be carried by the hypnotic feeling. At least no creatures attacked the ones who were infected by the Ocean Song.
When they got to the rift, everything went black, their First Dive had begun.
