After what felt like an eternity in the narrow tunnel, the oppressive walls finally came to an end.
We had emerged into a huge cavern so immense it was hard to believe we were still underground.
The ceiling loomed high above us, easily able to accommodate a twenty-story building, while the width of the cavern was staggering—wide enough to hold several city blocks side by side.
Giant gray vines cascaded down from the walls and ceiling, their silver leaves shimmering like stars in the dim light.
The ground beneath us was a pristine white sand, almost like freshly fallen snow, making everything look surreal.
"Look at that," Aria said with a satisfied nod, her gaze sweeping over the surroundings.
"It seems your luck isn't too bad, Greenhorn. We've managed to find a large tunnel after all."
"What is this place?"
"This place is called the Ivory Passage," she explained, her voice echoing softly in the air.
