Chapter 1: A Nightmare as Usual

They ran away and dodged the incoming fire of bullets from mysterious men with a red star on their shoulder and a small, tiny red star on the right side of their chest. They nearly escaped from the massacre that happened in the village. They went into the nearest sea in the stormy weather. The two individuals only managed to escape two out of three of the children to the helicopter. That was the last time he saw his family.

Then he woke up, breathing heavily from the nightmare that he experiences repeatedly. He walked towards the bathroom and washed his face. As he washed down his fatigue from watching the same nightmare over and over again. He looked up to the mirror and saw his messy white hair and his sky-blue eyes that were tired from his slumber, he questions if the events in the nightmare were real since he feels a vague sense of it actually happening. After he walked outside of his washroom, he heard a knock on the door.

He proceeds to go close to the door and hears a male voice "Kazuhiro! Wake up or we'll be late for the new semester"!

"Wait let me get prepared," Kazuhiro replied,

Impatient, one of the accompanying friends opens the door with brute force while shouting "WHY ARE YOU TAKING SO LON-"

As she pauses and witnesses Kazuhiro with his boxers only on him, she flusters and walks outside of the room in embarrassment. Meanwhile, his other friend walked into the room and said "Late as usual Kazuhiro." then Kazuhiro replied, "Shut up! I always wake up late Yuto."

As Yuto chuckled, he always ponders why Kazuhiro is always waking up late but doesn't care. As the other friend was flustered and embarrassed in the corner, Yuto said "Yuka, are sure you don't have a crush on Kazuhiro.", she replied, "SHUT UP IDIOT!"

The dormitory maid, after hearing the destruction of a broken door, starts walking towards them. As the friend group laughed around, they suddenly felt immense pressure and a menacing aura behind them. They proceed to slowly turn their backs and see the neko maid facing them. After she calmed herself, she goes up towards them and pull them from behind and drag them to the principal's office. Faced with the principal, they apologize in front of the old-timer.

While the friend group exited the office, Yuto keeps blaming Yuka for the incident. As they kept arguing while going to class, Kazuhiro sighed because it feels like it happens almost every day. He proceeds to open his eyes and see a cute short girl with sky blue eyes like him and silky white messy hair, though he ponders why she is here because she looks way too young to go to this school.

After hearing Kazuhiro saying thoughts out loud, Yuto said, "Maybe she is the one that Kazuhiro would date", but Yuka replied, "You disgusting freak."

When they enter the classroom, the bell rang in time, relieved that they arrived in time. As the trio sat down, the teacher announced that there will be a new transfer student coming to class from the northeast side of Japan.

Kazuhiro wonders who will be this new transfer student and the whole room was whispering about it.

"If it is a girl, I will snatch her immediately," Yuto said,

"This is why you don't have female friends" Yuka replied,

"What about you Yuka or the girls that have a crush on me?" Yuto said,

"Well we are different, plus I bet no girl likes you," Yuka replied,

"Shut up you two, the new student is coming," Kazuhiro said,

The room went silent as a girl entered the classroom. Kazuhiro then realized it is the same girl from earlier in the hallway.

Yuto after seeing the girl again said, "I wouldn't mind going to prison for this one"

After Yuto said that Yuka immediately slapped him so hard even the class felt its shockwave. Though the class continue because Yuto is always like that and sighed from disappointment and synchronized saying "Yuto"

The teacher then explained that her name is Kaitou, Kaisaka. After the teacher said her name, everyone proceeded to stare at Kazuhiro because his complete name is Kaitou Kazuhiro. Then the teacher said "Also known as Kazuhiro's real sister."

As the classroom heard that, they proceed to scream out loud realizing that Kazuhiro have a sister.

The teacher said, "Miss Kaitou, take a seat next to Yuka."

During class, Kazuhiro was thinking all the time and brainstorming, realizing that he have a sister in his life that he never knew or had forgotten. While he was brainstorming his thoughts, Yuka is having a conversation with Kaisaka, but Kaisaka isn't even speaking at all.

After classes, Kazuhiro starts to walk towards his room, as he walks toward his room. He opened the door to see Kaisaka changing her clothes in the room as his new dorm mate. Kasaika changed to her comfortable pyjamas, Kazuhiro proceed to walk into his room and lay on his bed and sleep. However, he can't help but have a hunch that her chest is fake. As he fall asleep, the same nightmare happened again but before they reached the helicopter, he woke up at 6 in the morning and felt Kaisaka on top of him hitting him with a pillow suffocating him. He then screamed for help, then Kaisaka removed the pillow from him.

He sees her on top of him, then he asks her why she did that to him, though Kaisaka replied by pointing at the alarm clock. Kazuhiro then said it was too early, but Kaisaka wouldn't respond and just dragged him around to indicate that he needed to get ready.

As he pondered about the nightmare, he then wanted it gone. He then just vents it in front of her. Kaisaka then just stared after he said it all, he then realized that the nightmares were real and she was the sister he escaped with, in tears both siblings hugged and continued their day afterwards.
