One moment, Ian felt some shame. Shame that everything pointed out was true. Then, even though he was feeling weak to the point of being sick, he felt himself weaken more. Strength poured out of his body, and he let go and sank into oblivion … and then, there was nothingness.
'Where am I?' Ian asked himself as he walked through a dark space. He could not see where he was and even the outline of anything. Ian walked until he felt like his legs would drop off his person.
There was no end in sight, and he had no sense of direction as he could not even make out anything in that darkness. Each step he took weighed on him. It was as if he was taking a strenuous exercise. He could not even feel his body. It was like he was floating, yet he was not.
