"You mean that this is some threshold of a sort?" Ian asked as he leaned close but kept a 'safe distance' from it. Murray nodded gravely, and Shelby was still reeling from the 'how' because if she had really done that, then she was unsure of how it came about and how she could undo it.
"Then why did you let Currey touch it?" Shelby asked worriedly.
Murray shrugged. "He wanted to…."
The single phrase summed it up, but that did not make any sense! Shelby looked at Murray in surprise.
"So where is he now?" Shelby asked.
Since Murray had figured it out, Shelby thought he would have all the answers to the questions brewing in her head.
