Ava did not return to the Thornstons after leaving the Wendover household. Her mind was a mess. This was becoming a bit too rampant in the days that the boy she thought would remain as such started to profess his love to her.
She could no longer brush those words aside, even if Ava did not want to admit it. Rocky had manned up over the few days after his father's issues. The thing was, Ava was in some sort of a state where she was having endless arguments with herself.
'Why am I even spending so much time thinking about this boy?'
'You know that he is NOT a boy, right? You're just in self-denial!'
