Shelby was not as naïve as her friends thought her to be. She just did not want to dwell on so much. She knew that getting married to Ian was a big luck change for her. From the start, it had been a downhill path, from being forced to marry an unknown 'widow' who was hung up over his supposed wife so much that he did not want to see anyone else.
The fact that he had children could not have been overlooked, but it had not been too much of a problem for her though. However, after getting to know a little about him as well as their 'bond, ' she dared to believe that it was meant to be and that she had been the lucky one.
The world thought she had landed into this marriage so easily, and people were jealous of her, including her own friend, quite sadly.
Shelby had eyes, and her disappointment in Brianna kept mounting with each passing second. She had a hunch about what might be going on.
