Rocky turned and looked at him. Leon did not hesitate and said, "This is a high-profile case, and we are moving very swiftly because we have all the evidence. Also, with the person your father tried to defame, this becomes a whole lot more complicated."
"I don't know if he had a grudge against them to try something this dispicable…" Leon muttered under his breath, adding, "We have the warrant to search the mansion and all the businesses, among others, so we will be there in about an hour, if not less."
Rocky processed the information and then thanked him, wondering why the detective had given him that information. However, he knew that there were certain things that he had to verify for himself; after all, there was nothing he could do apart from contacting his father's lawyer.
