"Why" Martha stopped looking at his questions. It seems she already knew about the break up. Since she already knew half, it didn't matter if she knew the whole truth.
"We weren't together in the first place." Noah bite the bullet.
"What?! What the hell does that mean?" Martha asked, looking at Noah with bewilderment.
"It was fake, Mom. At least at the start it was fake…" Noah got emotional and slowly started to share everything from the very beginning. How he met Jane, how her looks and mind charmed him, how they started a fake relationship benefiting their own and how not long before Noah fell for her hard.
"Mom, what should I do?! She said find someone who matches me. I told her I love her but she just….. she just faked it all… she never loved me." Noah said hopelessly, uttering each word with difficulties.
Martha looked at Noah carefully. When did her son grow up so big to fall in love and get heart broken.
