After ten minutes of interrogation.
"So you are telling us that Jane is fine and we don't have to worry about her?!" The man said with a doubtful expression.
"Yes." Alex nodded his head.
"And that she had been kidnapped from our village?! Our?!!!" His goofy partner yelled.
"Yes," Alex nodded his head.
Shame and anger covered their faces. They couldn't believe that their village, which they thought was the safest, had been used by bad guys and they didn't even know about it.
"Anyways, I'm happy for you Alex." The man said changing the topic before carefully looking at the couple at the front.
"Are you going back now?!" Alex said in a hurry in order to cover up his blushing face.
"No. We are going to stay and meet Jane before we leave."
Alex nodded understanding his villagemen before getting up from the seat and pulling on his girlfriend's hand.
