Tristan walks calmly, full of confidence. His hand illuminates a very bright, bluish light. The spirits are starting to float calmly, leaving Tristan alone as if they now knew how powerful he was.
However, the ground was shaken from every step Tristan took. But it wasn't coming from him. It's coming from Drook. The ground is shaking as the massive giant follows Tristan from behind, teetering from the pain. The gigantic giant crawls on his knees and one still healthy hand. Sometimes, he cries loudly from the pain of his clean-cut hand.
To help Drook from too much pain and stop the wound from bleeding him to death, Tristan puts his Power Shield to cover the flesh wound tightly. So Drook's injury was slightly radiant.
"Are you hanging in there, Drook?" Asked Tristan. He worries the poor beast won't make it to the cave's end.
"Drook… no… bleeding… anymore… but… Drook… hurt… Help… Drook… Help… Drook," Cried the beast. His tone shows he is now clinging to his life to Tristan.
"I will, Drook, I will. But I need you to be strong, okay?" Genuine care could be felt in Tristan's words.
Not long after he said it, Tristan could feel the cave shake even harder. Now, the ground not only strongly vibrates from Drook's steps but also something else. And the additional vibrations aren't as regular as Drook's steps.
"Master Tristan, we are near the end of the cave," Daggo's voice suddenly heard.
"I know." Replied Tristan nonchalantly. "I could feel Valeria, Prince Alex, and Lady Ayana's power signature getting stronger. But what's with the continuous spike in their power signal?" Adds Tristan, perplexed.
Soon after saying it, Tristan could see the light at the end of the cave. And, as they became closer to the light, the harder the shake felt.
Tristan saw shadows moving fast from a distance. It was the shadows of at least two people. They are hitting something invisible at the cave's end.
"Drook, keep following me, but you don't need to run like me." Said Tristan, with his eyes focused on the cave's end and his feet starting to move fast.
Within a few minutes, Tristan had left Drook pretty far, and the cave's end was very near. He could see Prince Alex and Lady Ayana send several blasts to the cave. Something invisible deflects it and sometimes absorbs it.
The cave is shaken hard every time the blast from Prince Alex and Lady Ayana hits the invisible wall. What perplexed Tristan was that his uncle and Lady Ayana didn't see him even when he should have been within their visibility. What baffled Tristan even more was that he couldn't hear their voice, considering they were only a few yards away.
Behind Prince Alex and Lady Ayana, Tristan could see Valeria preparing to shoot the invisible wall with her gun. A second later, several short bangs hit the place where Prince Alex and Lady Ayana didn't attack. But the bullets just ricochet away, and not one bullet penetrates the imperceptible wall.
Tristan tries to scream at Prince Alex, Lady Ayana, and Valeria. But just like he couldn't hear their voices, they seemed couldn't hear him either.
'God damn it! They can't see and hear me! Why can't they sense my power? I could sense theirs. Am I stronger than them now? How am I supposed to contact them now?' Tristan thought, now preoccupied with resolving the situation before him.
"Daggo, could you do something about it?" Asked Tristan to his AI, hoping the AI recognized the situation.
"I'm sorry, Master Tristan. I have tried to send a radio signal, but something unknown blocked my signal. This is unbelievable when they are right before us, Master." Advise Daggo, with his tone showing apparent perplexity.
Slowly, Tristan's hand reached out to touch the unseen wall. Something invisible is indeed blocking him as his hand cannot reach out further. Then, he punched it to reconfirm. There is something there. A hard wall that stops even strong attacks from Prince Alex and Lady Ayana combined.
Not wanting to wait longer, Tristan prepares to pump up his power to break whatever is blocking him from exiting. At the same time, his other hand amps up his shield to cover him and Drook with more layers of thin-bluish light in case the wall weakens and the strike from the other side enters the cave. Hitting the wall from both sides might help.
Then, with his free hand shining bright and powerful, Tristan unsheathed his sword and immediately spun it fast and continuously until it looked like a propeller spinning.
He jumped back a few yards before launching a steady beam attack on the invisible wall. He yelled, "Super speed beam!" before his spun sword emitted a bright light in nanoseconds. And it hit the wall with continuous thunderous blasts.
...
Meanwhile, at the same time, on the other side of the wall, where Prince Alex, Lady Ayana, and Valeria are trying to break the barrier,
"BOOM…BOOM…BOOM!"
The sound was so deafening that Valeria was shocked and threw herself back, trying to avoid anything that might come with the sound. But nothing hit her but the loud sound.
As the thunderous sound continued cracking the air, she couldn't hear herself thinking.
Prince Alex and Lady Ayana could be seen protecting their ears by making a thin layer sphere of light cover their head.
The sound was cracking the air and shaking the ground Valeria was standing. It felt like an earthquake and lightning bolt struck their position simultaneously and for unusually long. Valeria is almost thrown by the shaken ground. Luckily, she had her sword ready. She amped up her power, channeled it to the sword, and lunged it to the ground to create a beam she could hold on to.
Lady Ayana jumped toward Valeria, and as her hand touched Valeria's, a thin sphere of light covered Valeria's head. She also follows Valeria, creating a beam to hold on to with her sword.
Before them, Prince Alex has managed to float in the air to avoid the shaking ground and launch another attack on the formidable invisible wall. His attacks add more deafening sound to the air and worsen the quake.
Nevertheless, seconds after that, a radio signal from Tristan's AI, Daggo, managed to break through the radio wave blocked by the formidable magic wall and received by Prince Alex's AI.
Suddenly, Prince Alex withdrew from his position and returned to Lady Ayana and Valeria. Then, he creates a thick sphere to cover all three and lunges his sword to the ground to hold onto it.
...
At precisely the same time,
"Master Tristan, I have reached Prince Alex and advised him and the others to take cover. I think their position is safe enough, Master." Advised Daggo while Tristan continued to amp up his power and Super Speed Beam attack.
"Thank you, Daggo." Replied Tristan. And seconds after that, he let go of the enormous power accumulated in his stomach to move toward his spun sword.
