Valeria had already been expecting James. She just didn't think he would storm right in that early.
"Hire her back!" James bellowed, "or you're going to regret it!" He was breathing like a provoked bull, ready to launch its attack any moment soon.
Valeria walked forward back to her seat. She heaved in a deep sigh, then grunted in frustration. "Honestly, I need to change my dress. Now's not a good time."
"I'm serious, Valeria. Don't test my patience." He glared at her with menacing eyes, waiting for her to say something...to do anything. Thick brown brows furrowed. "Well?"
"Sit down." Said Valeria. She waited but rolled her eyes as she saw he had preferred to stand. "Whatever. Listen James, I am your boss now. And whatever relationship we might have had in the past...yea, that's right. It should remain there. I don't appreciate you barging into my office like this--"
