"Go, go, go!" I urged, motioning for everyone to climb out. With a collective effort, we scrambled up the ladder, emerging into the day air.
But as we emerged from the darkness of the tunnel, we were immediately surrounded by a group of knights, their swords drawn and pointed towards us.
"Who are you all? What are you all doing here?" one of them demanded, suspicion evident in his tone.
Before we could say anything, the ground began to shake, startling everyone. The soldier who had previously questioned us spoke up again, demanding to know what was happening.
"What's going on? Why is the ground shaking?" he asked, his voice filled with concern.
"Maybe it's an earthquake," another soldier suggested, but the first soldier shook his head.
"No, this isn't an earthquake. Look at the other areas nearby, they're not shaking," he pointed out.
