As we cautiously moved through the castle halls, the soldier accompanying the old man stepped forward, looking puzzled. "Sir, they were clearly lying. Why let them go?"
The old man chuckled softly, amused. "It's been years since anyone dared to lie in front of me. It's fun to watch them try, only to be defeated later."
The soldier frowned, still unsure. "But sir, what should we do now?"
"Ha, ha, ha, ha!"
The old man's laughter echoed in the corridor. "Block all the castle exits," he ordered with a mischievous smile.
The soldiers, standing together, replied, "As you wish, sir," and swiftly left to carry out his orders.
As they moved to seal the exits, the old man muttered, "Now, let's see what will you do now, kid." His eyes gleamed with amusement and anticipation.
Unaware of the challenge set by the old man, we continued our journey through the castle's twists and turns.
