In the city of Kaizen which is known as the Royal city. In this city, there was a huge tragedy which was the loss of The Noble Family of Amano which was lost by fire created by one of their own and bandits who raided their home in the city. Yuma Amano, known for his efforts in the Great World War and was the eldest son who was found dead and burnt to a crisp he was lucky to be even identified unlike some in this fire. Yuji Amano, who is the youngest, was the luckiest of all his brothers as he was staying at a friend's house that night in the Royal Palace. One of the servants' children, Aoi Umeda, one of the few survivors of the night was hiding under a building and was put there by Yuto Amano who was never found alive or corpse. This was a great tragedy for Kaizen, and it will never be forgotten.
Years have passed. In a small town that is a few days by foot from Kaizen. It is a small town called Chocochew. It is known for breeding and racing Chocobos, this is where our story will begin.
In the Yamada Chocobo Ranch one of the wealthiest Chocobo farmers in the Kaizen Kingdom, Lar Yamada. A young boy who was twelve years old boy was the adoptive son of the Yamada family. He has been suffering from amnesia as he cannot remember anything from two years ago, Yuto Yamada, he had fair healthy skin with sky blue eyes. He had a scar across his face from `his left eyebrow down to the right of his cheek. He had messy brown hair. He wore a light blue tunic and brown trousers with black boots. He helped the worker groom the Chocobos by brushing them on the head as he stood on a ladder because was not tall enough to get their heads with the brush.
"Kweh!" The Chocobo goes as it was pleased with Yuto's brushing.
"I'm glad you like it," said Yuto. He keeps brushing as he watches a young Chocobo white in color running around the outside of the barn as it hops over the fence and goes into the woods.
"Oh, no that Chocobo got out. Dad would be upset if it gets hurt," Yuto said as he climbs down the ladder and heads over to the fence and calls out to it but no good as it will not come back. Yuto climbs over the fence and goes looking in the woods.
Yuto sneakily walks through the woods as it was dangerous as it was home to goblins which sometimes terrorized the ranch on some nights.
"I knew this might have been a bad idea," Yuto mumbled to himself. He keeps looking around till he gets a large boulder with a strange red sword I guard had wings on.
"What a strange sword," He looks at it and starts to hear a voice in his head.
"Continue my legacy, Yuto,"
"What?" He grabs his head as it starts to hurt from headaches. Yuto starts to hear rustling in nearby bushes he watches small green humanoid creatures start coming out with stone-made weapons. He starts to walk back in fear at seeing the goblins looking to harm Yuto, He falls back and crawls back towards the sword. The Sword burst into flames, turning into a giant red bird that was on fire. The Goblins burn into ashes with Yuto unharmed. The Bird looks down at Yuto. He looked scared at the bird until he heard something.
"Kweh," The White young Chocobo he was looking for goes. The Bird disappears as he looks back and the sword is gone.
"Where did it go?" questioned Yuto. He looks around until he sees a strange mark on his left hand of a bird on it.
"When did I get this?" He continues to question himself as he gets up and brings the White Chocobo back to the ranch.
He returns to the ranch where he sees a middle-aged man in a farmer outfit looking for him. Yuto's adoptive father, Lars Yamada,
"There you are, Yuto," said Lars. "Where did you go?" he asked.
"Well, I went to go get this guy who ran off," said Yuto who was leading the White Chocobo.
"I see, well he has always been a troubled one," said Lars. "Well, your mother made dinner so we should put him back in his pen." They go and eat dinner.
