The reaction we received when presenting the dungeon was better than expected.
While some concepts seemed a bit strange to them, explaining what it meant made them connect it to things that already exist in their world.
During the tour we conducted, we were able to converse better with them and gain a slightly better idea of how their world functions.
In their world, instead of technological development, magic has taken center stage—both in the use of magic itself and the use of magical instruments. However, even though there are many similarities to our world, these are more exclusive to the nobility.
While it's possible for commoners to enjoy them, it requires a significant amount of money and connections. Otherwise, the products available to commoners are considered 'outdated.'
Nobles, or rather, the nobility, seem to hold a significant status in this world. Unfortunately, we couldn't delve into many details about them and what they're like.
Taking advantage of our contact with them, we used the opportunity to set a value for the services we offer, such as gathering more information about the other world.
"Rosie, come here."
Shortly after calling, in front of me, a small fox posed with an air of authority and class, something I didn't know was possible or that I wouldn't have noticed.
Rosie, my first monster and pet, or rather, the dungeon mascot, stood still, waiting for the next commands.
"Very well, come up here."
While petting her, I had her climb onto my shoulders. After much time training and debating when it would be best to present her as our mascot (after all, the name of my dungeon wouldn't make sense without a fox involved), after the dungeon change, she proved to be very clever and intelligent. Initially, she seemed to respond to some words, but soon she seemed to understand what we were saying without any problems.
"Not fair, I want to as well."
Seeing Rosie on my shoulders, Luna showed a bit of dissatisfaction. Understanding what she wanted, I handed Rosie over to her. After confirming everything was okay, we took her to the lobby. Since we appeared out of nowhere in the midst of people, this generated some curiosity around, even though it has become 'normal,' it continues to be received with curiosity.
This curiosity led people to notice Rosie, something resembling an animal, or rather, a monster, given she has more than one tail. Contrary to what I thought, very few looks showed fear, revulsion, or anything like that. People seem to be more focused on her appearance. I believe this happened due to her behavior and the lack of a fierce aura.
While you could hear some whispers saying she was cute, some young ones had fanatical eyes and were saying scary things. Something like it would be cool to have a dragon as a pet, something about their left arm hurting because they didn't have a monster as a pet. Clearly, some were lost in illusions, and others were in agony, as if remembering a dark time from childhood and adolescence, as if recalling the time when they had the eighth-grade syndrome.
"Let me introduce you to Rosie. She will be appearing among us quite a bit from now on, so we ask that you not be alarmed or worried."
The best way to avoid problems is to try to explain everything beforehand, even knowing that there's always one or two who still do wrong things.
"Rosie, come here and introduce yourself."
Listening to my command, she left Luna's shoulders, came to my front, and assumed a pose, standing on her hind legs and performing a courtesy greeting of a noble girl, where she bent her knees but kept her head held high, while simulating wearing a dress.
"As you can see, she is well-behaved and understands quite a bit. We treat her as if she were family, so we do not tolerate any form of aggression or anything like that with her and none of our other workers."
After that, we continued to pass through various places in the dungeon, repeating the same process, as monsters are still a delicate subject in this world, and caution is essential.
Finishing all the formalities, I decided to go after Lê. Today, we will be calmly testing what has changed with our races.

"Visually, you don't have any difference from before. Well, some measurements increased, and others decreased, but apart from that, nothing visually abnormal."
Firstly, we split into groups and tried to observe something like an extra limb or such, which fortunately we didn't find anything.
Unlike Alexandra, our previous measurements weren't something we cared much about, so we don't have accurate data to compare.
Additionally, we underwent various tests. Apparently, while all the results showed extremely healthy outcomes, some "unknown" substances were found. Due to the new reality because of monsters, dungeons, and the "level," this didn't cause any confusion, but they requested some samples to research and conduct experiments.
A commonality among all of us is the optimal quality of our organs, bones, and skin.
Without conducting various other specific tests, this is all we'll be able to know for now, but we only did them to satisfy our curiosity a bit.
The most important or distinctive thing due to the changes in races were the abilities.
Something that changed in me was my clarity, or better, the way I absorb things. My memory improved, leaving me with something akin to a photographic memory.
Rick seems to have gained almost total control of the body, being able to feel and "use" all parts of the body.
Oliver, well, seems to have gotten a bit bigger, in every sense. Besides, his strength has increased tremendously, and his skin and organs have become more resistant.
The only person who didn't change much was Alexandra. She says that when she's holding or touching something electronic, she can identify the functions and capabilities of the objects.
"I guess we didn't change much, did we? If you think about it, we just gained different abilities."
"Except that you grew about 15 centimeters taller, and all your muscles seem bigger."
Rick seems impressed with Oliver's size, especially with the muscles he gained.
"How did I not notice this change?"
To be honest, Rebeca felt that something was strange with all our sizes, but she didn't expect this much difference with Oliver.
"Did you guys not notice something? All of Jeff's talents are related to learning something. The irony is that he studied a lot only because he couldn't understand the college material."
"Yes, and now he gained another ability. He can memorize things better and think faster. Now he can..."
Rick has a look as if he wants to do something mischievous. When I looked at him, I noticed he was sending me some signals. It seems he wants to change the focus of the conversation or something.
"Be an idiot faster."
True, or at least it was. After leveling up and evolving, I can understand things much more easily and quickly.
"Well, it's better than breaking things because you can't control them, like someone who breaks a door when they just wake up."
"Says the person who got confused by a pet when practicing his skill."
After exchanging a few more funny moments or teasing each other a bit, we burst into laughter. It's moments like these that make me feel that despite everything, life goes on the same.
"Changing the subject, have you tested your new ability, Lê?"
"Not yet. I was quite indecisive about what to use and afraid of what would change. But I was thinking of testing it with a smartphone or a computer. I think these are things I could notice some results and are reasonably cheap."
"How about we choose something from the dungeon store? In theory, we can get something more advanced for a cheaper price."
"I was thinking of using some spare devices I have anyway."
Alexandra doesn't seem entirely against the idea, but she seems unwilling to spend the dungeon points on something just for a test whose outcome is unknown.
"I insist; just think of it as a gift from me to you."
When I said that, she seemed happy, but there was a conflicted expression mirrored on her face.
"Idiot, she wants a present she can see, use, or keep."
Oh.
