there's day and there's night : the sun and the moon: light and shadow : life and death.
each exist with a opposite. only being one does not make it whole. but with a piece that is different the other half shine's. both live in different plane but yet harmonized together.
this equilibrium is only kept as the two side exist. if one is not present than the other does not have anything to difference it with. so a peaceful city it always have a dark underbelly.
everything has a another side. each story is retold but with a different perspective. two side of the same coin. both are different but yet came from the same source. each story has a different perspective each time is retold. the passing of time is the only signifier that differ from each story. as the sun set and was replaced by the moon. as the store's closed for business. the people started to go home for their nightly ritual in their bed. but one store didn't flipped it sign as if daring the others to do the same. a man sat down a chair that was already readied for him. the restaurant is empty and no staff in sight to keep the place running. being in midnight there were no customer's coming back and and forward. only the man ordered a meal for one. as he patiently waited after he wrung the bell. the night went on quietly as if wanting the peace to never end. the man looked out the window while admiring the stars that was usually can't be seen due to light pollution. the stars sparkled as if they were jewelry. as he stared at the diamond in the sky the door suddenly flung open. as if interrupting the peace. the place suddenly boomed with commotion. the quiet and calmed place that man usually fancied is now being polluted by trash. five burley tattooed men barged in like they own the place. wearing leather jacket and some wearing fedora even if the weather isn't suited to it. they walked toward the stools that where the man enjoyed the view outside. as they loudly yelled the waiter to come and take their orders. the man kept quiet and keep enjoying the night sky. one of the men suddenly pulled up a black brief case that he was holding while entering the restaurant. he placed it down on top of the table while it emitted a heavy thud sound when it hit the counter top. he opened the brief case and it release a scent that is unique to newly created money. as ink and metal mix in with the cold air the man that was sitting silently is now facing their direction. being enterupted while enjoying his peace. the man was irritated but didn't showed his emotion in the surface. he looked at the money that was being poured down on the restaurant table. the men licked their fingers and started to count each stack. as they proceeded their counting of the cash the waitress finally came with only one dish. before she never seem any one beside the man who was a regular in their restaurant. now there's five men with a pile of green cash on the wooden table. she feels anxious and scared but remembering the man was here gave her security. while ignoring their eyes ogling on my body. I finally reached the man that was patiently waiting this who time. the tray reveled plate of pizza with round red pepperoni slice's while under it was a vibrant golden cheese leaving a aroma that made the mouth drool. as the smell whiffed through the air the woman followed by placing a glass of warm milk Infront of him.—" sir, don't forget your milk "— as she looked and smiled at man face the other tattooed men was looking at her ass and having indecent thoughts. she felt a hand groping her backside and resisted to bash him with the metal tray that she held. she kept her composure and she placed down the tray that was holding the man's order. the man always came to the restaurant even when it was still just a small store that sells refrigerated pizza.
he always defended the place from gang member and thug's that tried to lay a hand on this little family run restaurant. so she learned a lot of self defense from this man. the most important part that is to avoid fighting in first place. avoiding injuries and possible death is the most important part. while she reminisce the memories with the man that taught her so much about the world. she twisted the hand that was grasping her bottom and faced the group of hooligans.—" can't you stop. this type behavior is isn't allowed inside nor outside of this restaurant "— she said while not changing the tone of her voice and her face stayed the same.—" calm down little miss, we just wanted a little fun "— the eyes slithered up and down her body while licking his lips. —" and plus, we have a lotta money to go around. I don't spending it on you "—while the man said those words he shook a couple of stacks of money Infront of my face.—" do I look cheap enough to be bought of by money "—she slapped the money away and it dropped down toward the tiled floor. the man stood up furious of being rejected and being humiliation Infront of his friends. while all the men were laughed and hauling at him he was fuming and looked like a red tomato. she just gave him a mocking smile while his whole body shocked in anger. but suddenly without any warning he try to punch her tface. but without flinching she redirected his fist while her foot was wedge between his feet and the floor. she pulled his fist and making him lost his balance. the other hand holds on the man's face and bashe his face against the marble counter top. blood spattered everywhere while his whole body went limp.

the man we're confused and aimed at the man that suddenly spoke up.—" I don't know what ya talking about but we're in the most dangerous gang in this city so if ya don't want to be hunted I advised ya do nothing "—the man with a suit that was wearing a leather jacket was now aiming at the man.—" so if you were in a gang. then do you trust your boss? "
the man said while holding the glass of milk to his lips. he gulped down the contains and placed back down on the marble table. they all saw him including the woman did this without the care of the situation. the only part of him that she hated it is how he doesn't have any situation awareness. she felt tense as all the gun were pointed at the him. her whole body froze and didn't made any noise as she internally panicked on what to do. but her concerns were for nothing. as her eyes closed the sound of body dropping down the floor emitted through out the empty restaurant. her eyes opened and saw the man was gone she panicked and immediately try to look around. she saw the man standing around three bodies that was on the ground and their heads was caved in while the last one is struggling in his grasp. while struggling to comprehend what's happening the last man standing try to shoot his face. but before he placed his finger on the trigger. all his finger snapped backwards and he dropped the gun on the floor. while his mind didn't register the pain but when he saw his mutilated fingers agonizing pain came from his hand. he tried to scream but before he could the face of the man loomed Infront of him. being scared out of his wits he held scream in his mouth.
—" where did you get this money from "—

heard small foot step coming out the restaurant. while being unable to see anything she only listened to the foot steps that was getting louder. as the sound of shoe stepping on the concrete she was in a fetal position and keeping her breathing checked. and finally reaching the door.
—" oi–wait your jumping the gun. i swear I didn't steal any food from you "– while holding her hands up like she surrendered. a female voice is heard and suddenly. being silent for a couple of minutes. she felt restless because of the tension was suffocating. being unable to handle the tress and she gingerly peaked her head above the counter top. she saw a woman with rainbow colored hair and wearing a suit while her eyes was covered by shades. she just stand still while staring at the man that was holding a gun. then like breaking the tense tension in the air.—" Diablo?! "— the woman exclaimed while holding up her fingers and pointing at the man.—" his name is diablo? but I thought it was spelled differently— "you still got my name wrong. marry, you still didn't change "— the man lowered his gun and spoke to her like a close friend. the pair taken a seat far away from the corpses and the woman named marry ordered. as she go back to the kitchen to prepare the meal that she ordered.—" so how are you?
