Chapter 7 - Chapter 6

"Take one step and you're dead," Rico said, his voice raging with anger. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Just moments ago, I thought I was saved from a threat. But now, facing Rico with a gun pointed at me, it seemed like I had only traded one danger for another.

My body was paralyzed, tears flowing down my face as I stood there, unable to move. Rico had saved me, only to kill me himself? It was a cruel twist of fate.

"Fantasma," a voice said in amusement, interrupting the tension in the room. I turned around to find the tall man who had led the others in their brutal assault on me. He seemed amused by the situation. "So, you're helping the girl now?" he continued, a sneer on his face. "How much is he paying you to turn like this? You know if she finds out—"

Before he could finish his sentence, a gunshot echoed through the hotel room. The tall man fell to the floor, dead, a bullet lodged between his eyes. Rico had acted swiftly, eliminating the man without hesitation.

"I love shopping. We should do this more often," Rico said casually, as if he had just finished a mundane task. He took out his phone and called Liam, instructing him to dispose of the bodies in blood pools. Two girls entered the room, ready to carry out the task.

As we left the room and made our way to the hotel parking lot to wait for the others, Rico turned to me, a mischievous grin on his face. "You should change. You have a little blood on your clothes," he said.;A little? I was practically a red tomato.

I was in shock. Rico seemed unfazed by the violence he had just inflicted. --was killing just another part of his daily routine.like is was just another punchline in his sick personality.

After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, Abby finally showed up. The tension in the air was palpable as we anxiously waited for Liam's arrival. Will took charge and led us out of the hotel to where the jet was parked. It stood before us, a magnificent sight - a sleek black body adorned with golden initials that spelled out Luciano. It was a symbol of power and mystery.

Lost in admiration, I barely registered Rico's presence until he spoke.

"Hey, sorry about drugging you before,"

he said, his face etched with genuine remorse. I paused, unsure of how to respond. The memories of that incident were still fresh in my mind, but he seemed sincere. "It's okay," I finally replied, deciding to give him the benefit of the doubt. "Just don't do it again."

Rico's eyes softened, and he nodded earnestly. "I promise I won't do it again, scout's honor," he said, intertwining his fingers with mine and raising his other hand in a solemn vow. His smile was infectious, and I couldn't help but feel a glimmer of trust returning.

As I turned my attention back to the jet, I noticed Will carrying Abby inside. The question forming on my lips was abruptly cut off as darkness slowly engulfed my vision once more. I turned to Rico and the evil smirk was back on his face"See you in Lazio Blu" he said.

I was busy going through all the family's trafficking issues, trying to make sense of the tangled mess that lay before me. The company was also losing money, a lot of it. "It seems we are losing a lot ever since our top supplier stopped working with us. Our revenue has dropped significantly," I said to Liam, who was sitting at his desk in the office, looking lost in thought. I couldn't blame him; the pressure was mounting on both of us.

As I continued sorting through the files on my laptop, something caught my eye. Liam's account had wire transferred 500 grand to another account. My heart raced as I processed the amount. "That much money? No wonder we've been losing money. You're busy sending 500 grand to your bitches," I exclaimed, my voice rising in disbelief.

"What are you talking about? I didn't send anything to anyone," Liam replied, his voice filled with confusion and denial. I stared at him, searching for any signs of deception. Could he be telling the truth? Someone had stolen from me, but who would be bold enough to risk their life stealing from the most feared man in the business?

Liam's anger flared. "Find me that mother fucker right now, and take Rico with you," he ordered, referring to his trusted assassin. "I am not in the mood to kill anyone today, but okay," I responded, trying to hide my unease. I was walking out of his office to do as I was told --first I need to figure out how to get her location, she used a false account. "Ohh And Will? " He caused me to stop "get Crawford's daughter while you're on it."
